Deal with the reality of domestic violence
Article here. Excerpt:
'When I started this gig, I was a crime reporter. For the better part of 12 years, I covered everything from organized crime to petty theft to homicide.
Generally speaking, the murders I covered fell into two broad categories.
By far the most common were criminals killing other criminals, usually over drugs or money. The others were domestic murders.
Any experienced crime reporter will tell you the same thing: In the overwhelming number of cases, victims in domestic murders are women.
They were killed by their husbands or boyfriends, sometimes in one-time act of rage but usually as the final act of violence in a long history of domestic abuse.
The number of times I reported on a case of a domestic murder that involved a woman killing her husband or boyfriend was zero.

To be clear, we know there are men who suffer domestically, who are abused physically and emotionally. They are smaller in number, but they exist. And there is a stigma about a man coming forward to say he was abused by his female partner.
However, if "mens rights" supporters were serious about addressing the issue, they would not frame it as an attack on shelters like Gillian's Place, or demand these organizations operate on the basis of gender "equality." That they focus their bile at organizations protecting female victims of crime bespeaks the agenda behind MRA rhetoric.
If they wanted to actually do something useful, they would start their own campaigns designed to provide those men who do suffer the resources they need.
And until they do so, without the demands for gender "equality", no one is going to take them seriously.'
