Thundercloud
Hi everyone,
I know this is off-topic, but I was wondering if any of you remember Thundercloud? He was here several years ago, and was a very good MRA. I was here at that time as well, but I don't recall my original ID.
Anyway, if any of you remember him, I am sorry to report that he passed away 3 years ago. He had been in a terrible motorcycle accident, and he died a few months later due to complications of severe head trauma.
I am his girlfriend. We met on this site, learned we lived near each other and got together. It was a wonderful 2-year relationship. I will never forget him. He wanted all of you to know that he loved you, and to keep up the fight!
I have picked up Thunder's mantle, and I too will now fight for equal rights for men and women alike. So much damage has been done by feminists, but Thundercloud didn't believe that it's too late, nor do I. We CAN do this.
Yes, I am a woman. But just know, we are not all misandrist feminists. Some of us really do care about REAL equality, not this rubbish that passes for it nowadays.
Thank-you for your indulgence. Let's make Thundercloud PROUD of us!

Very sorry to hear it
I am very sorry to hear this news, Erika. Thundercloud had been a valued MANN regular and clearly one great guy. I am sorry for your loss and you are most definitely welcome as a MANN member. Indeed, many very active MRAs are women and unlike feminism, the MRM doesn't discriminate.
Sorry to hear this too
I remember Thundercloud from about a decade ago and admired his desire to stand up to the increasing misandry of feminism. Also, his sense of humor - one time he made a quip about The Patriarchy being a secret society where you can stay up late and drink root beer (I still get a chuckle out of that one). And the "Hoka Hey!" endings to his posts.
And then he disappeared for what seemed like years and he finally reappeared to comment on his bad motorcycle accident. I'd assumed he was recovering from it, but sadly it turned out he hadn't.
In the end, though, he was an inspiration to the rest of us regulars at MANN. He will be remembered fondly.
A great spirit
I remember him and am sorry to hear the news. He is missed. He was great to "talk to" over this forum. I always enjoyed his perspective. He often brought an outlook that was a insightful and refreshing.
RIP
I remember Thundercloud well. He always had so much fight and cared so much about the cause of Men's Rights, and it's such a shock to learn he'd passed away.
My sincere condolences to you and your family.
he was a guy
easy to remember. I too got the impression he was recovering.
he will be missed.
gosh how time flies.
welcome aboard. hope you have a thick skin. sticks & stones.
:(
I'm very sorry for your loss, Erika. Truth is, it's our loss as well.
I never really got to speak with Thundercloud directly via this website but I did read some of his comments. I always liked to hear his opinion on things, when he had one. He will be missed immensely.
I hope that you stick around. We'd love to hear your take on things.
thank you
thank you so much for not only posting this, but thank you for remembering him.
and yes i do plan on carrying on his work and his fight.
the spirit of the "old warrior" Thundercloud will fight on, through me, and others.
just to let all of you know. not all of us women are misandrist entitlement queens. some of us do realize that "equality" is not categorical.
staying
xtrnl. don't worry. i'm going nowhere.
this battle for equality is everyone's business and everyone's responsibility.
unlike many women... i do not run from MY responsibilities.
Thundercloud said that was one of the things he liked about me.
complications
mens_issues
yes, unfortunately his death was caused by complications due to severe head trauma. he was in and out of the hospital for it for a number of years. it finally just took him.
if it's any consolation, he died in his sleep.
he mentioned you, scott garman and someone named ray, as well as others, here.
i am from Yorkshire England and met T.C. at a pub. i found him to be quite honest and refreshing. it was he who brought the plight of men's inequality to my attention.
i returned here with him with plans of us marrying. it wasn't meant to be, i'm afraid.
but, i'm here now. i have me American citizenship, and will carry on his fight.
daveinga
