Suit: UC violating rights of accused students

Story here. Excerpt:

'A University of Cincinnati athlete and a former UC law student sued the university Tuesday, alleging UC presumed them to be guilty of sexual allegations made against them, violating Ohio's Constitution.

"In practice, the UC system is biased against those accused of misconduct," the suit filed by local attorneys Josh Engel and Mike Allen, noted.

The suit was filed against UC and Daniel Cummins, UC's assistant dean of students and director of university judicial affairs. Cummins didn't immediately respond to a Tuesday call, email and tweets. UC spokeswoman M.B. Reilly said the school was following federal laws and guidelines and is doing all it can to protect all of its students.
...
"(I)n practice," the suit notes, "UC often imposes restrictions and punishments based solely on an allegation without allowing for any hearing or even conducting an investigation." It also notes students found responsible in these hearings can be kicked out of school.'

OK, I am going to stick my neck out and wonder if there is an aspect to this rape hysteria that is a blessing in disguise for young men.

Thirty years ago, men could go to college, get drunk every day and be guaranteed a job (in some cases) by contacts.

That world is dead. Men must now work, too. The market place is vicious.

And men CAN work: the male mind, with a greater number of longitudinal neurons (along the hemispheres, as opposed to women who have more neurons between them), is more designed for focus.

But young men have, to some extent (and excuse my language) fucked themselves up by drinking too much in college. They have partially established a culture of irresponsibility. I have always despised the movie "Animal House" For frats became that way AFTER the movie as a kind of demented emulation.

So at some schools now the frats are getting in line. They are making sure their members focus, they are curtailing the wild parties.

Sure, I think many men are falsely accused. And those who are, should sue, sue, sue, sue and sue.

But is it possible that one unintended side affect of all this hysteria is going to be a kind of MGTOW. And by that I do not necessarily mean "avoiding women," but I mean
Focus
Work
Study
Be careful who you sleep with.

Is it possible that in time, this could all be the seeds of empowering men to rise back up again?

Is it possible that this, along with parents who are now seeing their sons fail in schools and who now focus on Johnny's Education, is all going to empower men in the future?
