Louisiana Man Accuses Ex-Girlfriend Of Stealing His Sperm

'A man claims a woman took his sperm without asking.
Layne Hardin of Louisiana has filed a lawsuit in Harris County, Tex. against a sperm donation clinic and his ex-girlfriend, Toby Devall, claiming that Obstetrical and Gynecological Associates' sperm bank failed to provide proper safeguards to keep Devall from stealing Hardin's baby-making material.
ABC News reports that Hardin and another now ex-girlfriend, Katherine LeBlanc, originally signed a contract in 2002 with Texas Andrology Services sperm bank that said only LeBlanc could have access to Hardin's freeze-dried specimen, according to the lawsuit.'

This is a "he said, she said" case.

Hard to know what to believe. It sounds like the mother is wealthy, wanted to be a single mom and is not asking for any child support from him.
This case also sounds similar to the Joe Pressil case who claimed his ex girlfriend stole his sperm and went to a clinic for insemination and conceived twins. The mother denied any steeling of sperm and insists he was involved and even administered her fertility drugs as she claims they were common-law husband and wife. BTW, the Pressil case was dismissed before trial.
I am no fan of sperm/egg donation and artificial methods of conception, single parenthood, etc but the artificial conception industry definitely needs more regulations and higher standards.
PS- This guy should have his frozen sperm destroyed. According to him, the intended use was from over 10 years ago!
