'A bigot in a bra'

Article here. Excerpt:

'This week, Esther Walker - wife of celebrity food critic Giles Coren - wrote a lacerating opinion piece about her casual sexism towards men and boys.

The article, which no doubt delighted the likes of Harriet Harman and Suzanne Moore, garnered more than 1,400 reader comments and sparked global offence (from both genders) after it poured vitriol on her unborn child for possibly being male.

'I can only deal with one man in my life... and sometimes that’s one too many,' she spewed, probably over some middle class macaroons or an elderflower torte.

'I know very little about boys, but what I have seen I really haven’t liked. Boys are gross; they attack their siblings with sticks, are obsessed with toilets, casually murder local wildlife and turn into disgusting teenage boys and then boring, selfish men.'

She then said she would 'die' if her baby was born male, claimed that she was 'deeply, deeply suspicious of little boys,' before describing them as the 'dreaded gender'.'

She's like a female Grinch, but for males only.

She actually sat there and wrote that she wouldn't want to produce a male infant (what, would she dump him by the roadside or if she was afraid of getting in trouble, abandon him at a police station?), or deal with a young boy, or heaven forbid a teenager, or feel responsible for yet another God-awful man being loose in the world. She actually sat there and wrote stuff like that.

I have no problem saying this: She's vermin. And I don't really care if she changes her mind. I don't care what she thinks or what happens to her. I only hope that indeed, she does not give birth to a boy, who will undoubtedly only suffer abuse at his mother's hands. In fact I really hope she is done reproducing and feel sorry for both her daughter (that she has a disgusting bigotted mother) and her husband (God knows what he puts up with from her, but in any case, he shouldn't).

Let's hope beyond hope that she goes away and we never hear from her again. She is dirt.
