Fathers Day 2012: Three years after President Obama tells men to "step up"

Article here. Excerpt:

'Marilyn Frye, a leader in the feminist movement, often referred to a birdcage as a metaphor for the oppression of women. With a myopic focus we see only the individual wire and ponder why the bird does not simply fly around it. But with a macroscopic viewpoint we realize each wire has been systematically placed, creating a confine not unlike the solid walls of a dungeon.

Sadly, one result of the feminist movement has been the construction of a network of groups, organizations, and regulations that are being used to prohibit men from being a productive influence on their offspring. Not for profit and federally funded organizations actively influence legislation and judicial proceedings to protect women, resulting in the utter disregard for the rights of men. The tyrannical use of false allegations, coupled with Child Protective Services and law enforcement, effectively removes men from the picture. And corrupt family law attorneys portray men as abusive monsters, constructing fear in an already adversarial and biased family law system, compelling the court to remove the perceived “threat”.'
