Justin Bieber paternity suit dropped, report says

Story here. Except:

'A paternity lawsuit against Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber has been dismissed, according to TMZ.

The suit brought by an American woman, Mariah Yeater, was quietly dropped last week, according to the celebrity gossip website, which first reported the legal action earlier this month.

Lawyer Jeffrey Leving confirmed Wednesday the suit had been withdrawn, but said the two parties were trying to address the matter out of court.'

We still don't know if the baby is his... Bieber may have bribed the woman to get her to shut up... and all his offering of paternity tests may have been just bravado, making it look like he is the wronged party... yet my hit is that she saw that she could no longer continue the fraud, and that Bieber wasn't going to simply pay her to shut her up.

According to Fox News (which has very little credibility I admit), her lawyers have withdrawn from the case, which either means that they see that there is no prospect of winning this, and they give up, or else she has fired them, so as to bring in a new team that agrees with her legal strategy. Frankly I don't think she's sophisticated enough to be doing the latter... this picture of her makes her look crazy.

I hope Bieber's lawyers pursue her for slander, defamation, fraud, malicious prosecution, and whatever else they can throw at her.
