Letter to the Editor: Many men victims of abuse as well
Submitted by anthony on Thu, 2011-11-03 04:34
Letter here. Excerpt:
'As an organization that works with male victims of domestic violence, we would like to respond to the article, "Men called to fight abuse" (Oct. 21). The article incorrectly states that 95 percent of domestic violence is committed by men.
That figure is not supported by any current, reliable source. Even crime data from the Department of Justice, which is unreliable because men report it less than women, now shows about 25-30 percent of the victims are men.'

Salute to Marc E. Angelucci
Marc is an incredible lawyer and he is involved, and has been involved, with a lot of important pro-male-rights legal cases. Thank you Marc for all that you are doing! And thank you NCFM for being the umbrella under which Marc works. Those men who are not familiar with the National Coalition For Men (formerly the National Coalition of Free Men, a title that I like better), should check out their web site:

I suggest naming NCFM in your will as a major beneficiary, as well as sending a donation (and joining) today.
Great letter
This is a superb letter, a good model because it provides solid facts.
I notice one femibeast is saying the studies have debunked. Balderdash. These studies were not carried out by MRAs with an agenda but by respected social scientists. There's no basis to the claim they're either biased or debunked. The studies consistently find very similar results.
But if it doesn't suit the feminist agenda, it must be biased or incorrect.
Anyway, a good letter Marc.
I fight abuse
I fight abuse, but abuse is alot wider than what it is commonly thought to be, as violence in heterosexual relationships. Abuse can be part of any relationship. Abuse and harassment comes from females and males, friends and enemies, people in positions of authority and people who look up to you for support. While men are typically more physical, women are more emotionally and psychologically abusive, and use male sexuality to demean, vilify, and emasculate men - even their own fathers, boyfriends, husbands, and sons. Pretty soon the world is going to be controlled by armies of feminist bureaucrats, all stealing money and frauding the banks, the judicial system, the government, us, and each other.
