Man denied protective order, murdered by wife
Story here.
'HELENA - A Helena man who was shot to death Thursday morning was denied an order of protection last month and filed for divorce two days before his estranged wife was charged with killing him.
The Independent Record reports 48-year-old Joseph Andrew Gable asked District Judge Dorothy McCarter for a temporary order of protection from Michelle Coller Gable on Sept. 20, alleging she was stalking him.
He said Michelle Gable had entered his apartment and started a confrontation in which she threw a laptop computer down the stairs.
McCarter denied the request, writing: "No personal danger or threat involved."
Michelle Gable is charged with two counts of deliberate homicide in the death of her husband and his female acquaintance at his apartment.'

Side by side comparison needed
It would be very interesting to see a side by side comparison of both this case and the seal beach shooting case. Not that these cases are alike, they are not, the only similarity is someone shot someone. I mean a comparison in the reporting to clearly demonstrate the Misandry in the coverage and public comments.
Maybe just a bad call by the judge
Psychologists sometimes release people who have been under suicide watch, and then these people go out and kill themselves. Sometimes doctors, psychologists, judges, etc. make bad calls. The non-issuance of a protective order may not have anything to do with gender discrimination. It's hard to tell what happened from such an abbreviated article. One thing is clear, that women who are angry can and do kill people, as well as maim them.
