... the reason for it is not founded in an awareness that circumcision is heinous. Instead it is founded in the need to cut the budget. That ain't good enough, as they say.

Only when circumcision is not only not supported financially by the state but is instead outlawed because of its widely-acknowledged unjust nature will we have a real reason to celebrate.
