Canada: Cop engaged in affair with suspect's wife receives temporary demotion

Article here. Excerpt:

'NEWMARKET, Ont. - The York Region cop he blames for framing him and ruining his life stood before the police board and received a slap on the wrist.

For carrying on an affair with Sherry Major while investigating her claims of sexual assault against her estranged husband, Staff-Sgt. Terry Jordan was handed an 18-month demotion to sergeant Wednesday.

“This is a very unfortunate situation that has had an impact on all of us as police officers,” said York Regional Police chief Armand La Barge following the disciplinary ruling by Supt. Karen Noakes. “Obviously it’s very upsetting and disappointing.”'

WOW!!! (And I don't mean in a good way).

Makes you wonder if there was only one cop she was sleeping with.

Poor guy, he deserves way more justice - and what about the wife's lying to the judge? Is that going to go unpunished. I got interupted while I am writing this, does it say if the wife is being puinished for anything? Seems like they both engaged in obstruction of justice, conspiracy and false allegations.

No doubt corruption is in the police departments and individual officers.

Yes there is corruption. It sounded like something from a movie without a good ending.

There wasn't anything about the wife being punished; most the focus was on the victim and the cop.

The cop only pleaded to "discreditable conduct and neglect of duty"... I don't know the law but that seems quite meaningless and should read obstruction of justice and conspiracy for them both of them.

The Guy spent 6 months in jail... again I don't know the law but how can that be a fair and speedy trial?

His wife lied to the judge, slept with the investigator, and had his kids taken away. Doesn't he need to protect his children from her?

Guy's life is ruined by horrible deeds and nothing happens, totally corrupt!

Small consolation but hope he gets the 7 mill

Of course the court system only gave the cop a slap on the wrist. He was after all just a beta doing the bidding of a woman, he was doing what all men are supposed to be doing. The whole system is set up to use men as slaves (betas) to force them to do what women want.

For example, a hypothetical woman complains that there's a DV problem in her house, even though she instigated a fight, and she is the only one who was physically aggressive. Who gets arrested? The man of course -- only the man. So every man who does the bidding of a woman will be rewarded, even if his conduct is unethical, illegal, or scandalous. In this particular case, because this unwritten rule was revealed in such an embarrassingly public way, the cop gets a slap on the wrist, probably with the words from his supervisor, something like: "what's the matter with you? You're supposed to keep these matters private?!?"

Every man who opposes a woman getting what she wants, he will be severely punished or disadvantaged, no matter what the ethics, law, or public opinion involved. For example, a man who stands up to his ex-wife's lies about child abuse, he will be ignored by the court, regardless of the evidence against the wife, and he will be disadvantaged by her lies. Likewise, a man who has been the victim of paternity fraud, who brings a lawsuit to contest the payment of child support, he will in many jurisdictions be ignored, and he will be forced to pay for a child that is not his own.

The family court and the feminist judicial system that now prevails in the USA is committed to women getting what they want, no matter what the implications are for men.
