So Mr. Daly, if a man has sex, one right after the other, with five women, does that mean he's been abused or exploited? "Oh, but that's not the same!" you say. Why, because the man has the penis? Or how about group sex among 6 men? Or 6 women?

You have only to expand the principle you are suggesting to see the sexist biases you are displaying here. In your case it's sexism against people of both sexes. You're assuming the girl couldn't give consent to having group sex. Well there are a lot of adult film stars who would beg to differ. Next you're assuming the men did something bad by having sex with her. Would you say 5 women did something bad to a man by having sex with him?

The problem that occurred here was this: These five men were arrested for rape without any investigation of any kind. There was an allegation and that was sufficient to arrest them, call a press conference, and splash their names all over the media. Had they not had evidence to show they were not guilty of the crime they were accused of, they would still be in jail, falsely accused, but likely to get convicted-- merely based on testimonial evidence.

You say it was bad one of them recorded their group sex act. I say if they hadn't they'd be in jail right now facing long prison terms after a carnival-atmosphere trial where they are presumed guilty. If any man is involved in group sex with a woman, I say he had better get video evidence of it so he can exonerate himself if she later accuses him of raping her.

Mr.Daly is wet. I expect there have been many cases where a girl had it off with the football team. If so its none of my business to approve or disprove. The truth of the matter is that some men for some reason can not accept the women are sexual and some of them very much so. I don't know since I wasn't there, but this is what it looks like to me: She knew those guys were there and planned to meet them (otherwise why would they be hanging around in a bathroom?), based perhaps on a pre-arranged plan between her and them. However she didn't expect her bf to be around for whatever reason. So after her encounter, she went back to her room (or his room) and discovered he was there, only she looked a lot like she just had sex with 5 guys. She had to tell him something, so she told him she was raped. Of course he called the police or campus security and the rest is history.

Again, I dunno if that is how it went down, but it sounds like a plausible scenario to me.
