UK: Women only for Labour at next general election

'THE LABOUR candidate for the next general election will be another woman after party bigwigs ruled on an all-female shortlist – to the dismay of local members.

The decision made by the Labour Party's National Executive (NEC) in London on Tuesday has not met with the approval of local members who had hoped for an open choice after current MP Kitty Ussher decided not to stand at the next election.

Party chiefs said the decision was made because the Labour Party was committed to the Equalities Bill which strives to see more women in public life.

The local party chairman added: "The party in Burnley unilaterally said it wanted an open list. We wanted to be able to choose the best candidate, whether male or female, and preferably someone local.

"I know of at least six local men who had expressed an interest but no women. I have told those men of the decision and they are very concerned. We have to look at the position very carefully now."'

sounds like how the fairness doctrine (radio) = favoritism for 'special' groups

then there's "choice" for women = bad news for unborn babies

hate speech prosecution = extra sentencing of "certain" groups only

violence against women's act ($$) = automatic assumption of wrong by men (bad man!)

affirmative action = permanent special treatment of certain "victim" groups

best interests of the child = automatic custody by a "certain" group (and $$$) based solely on gender

rape/sexual assault (by women only) = wrist slap & tremendous differential in sentencing

false accusations (molestation, d.v. and rape) = no problem (women only, slap wrist here)
automatic destruction of innocent men's lives, families and reputations
note: also works to women's advantage in civil & criminal courts in a variety of designed & sinister ways

title IX = special treatment (women) in schools & devestation of men's sports programs

battered spouse defense = get out of jail free card (women only) for murder & mayhem

alimony = indentured servitude for (almost entirely) men

and last, but certainly an old old favorite... drum roll

welfare = lifetime of self-hate, self-pity and bondage

there are probably many more sounds good = very bad ways that deceptive people and groups have doublespoke their way into good honest people's trust.

all these things either sounded good, promised to be good for everybody, began with good intentions or were sold as being good, but got way out of hand and wound up being very bad overall. nothing like a white flag and sweet talk to get one to trust, eh?

when women's groups, minorities or lawyers start clapping you on the back and using goody goody terms, honest people beware. it appears they are just feeling for a soft spot to sink the knife.

also odd how wells (h.g.) was even able to predict something as incidious as doublespeak when writing about the future. strange times indeed.
