Cops: Scorned NYC Woman Scorched Hubby's Genitals

Story here. Excerpt:

'QUEENS (CBS) ― A boiling mad Queens woman is behind bars after she took matters into her own hands to stop her husband's infidelity.
...
"She came into the bedroom and poured hot water on me," Ojofeitimi said.

The target of her revenge: his genitals.

The Nigerian native was rushed to the hospital for burns not only to his genitals but his chest, arms and legs.
...
As Ojofeitimi recovers at the hospital's burn unit, his wife is in jail, no doubt asking herself if her punishment for him fit his crime.'

If a man pours boiling water into a woman's lap if he thinks she was cheating, even if she was? The reporter would not nearly be so light-hearted in his (or her) reporting-- nor would he suggest he didn't belong in jail for it.

Using the word scorned suggests there was some provication on his part. Basically, if he wasn't unfaithful (as they claim) he would not be in the hospital. Somehow, someway, it must be his fault.

As I have said in other post - 'all women are filth'. Actually wives are even worse than that.

Journalist of course don't even make it as high as filth. They are not in the gutter but a long way beneath it.

Maybe she just had a baby and has postpartum depression. That of coarse would justify her actions. :-}

I guess that's supposed to be funny.

I've begun to re-think the cute headlines. Maybe they're not so much to make light of the male victim, but instead to make light of the woman's possible guilt: "Hah! The mere notion that a woman could knowingly do this...LOL!!"
