'The Australian Institute of Criminology has recently corrected an error in its National Homicide Monitoring Program 2006-07 Annual Report (see email below).

The original report stated that 7 homicides involved a mother and 15 involved male family members.

The corrected report states that 11 homicides involved a mother and 11 homicides involved a male family member. When the category of 'male family member' is broken down, we see that only 5 perpetrators were fathers, while another 5 five were de-facto partners of the mother who lived with the child (one father murdered two children). Importantly, no child victims were killed by a complete stranger in 200607.'

The failure to distinguish between dad and mom's boyfriend is common. They are often lumped together. In fact, natural fathers and mom's boyfriend behave quite differently towards the children. Lumping them together makes it appear fathers are abusive when it's usually mom and her boyfriend. Of course, that's where the courts like to place children of divorce--with mom and her boyfriend.

The madness of the PC universe is astounding.

for one second this type erroneous reporting is an accident,
then you must have voted for our current illegal alien prez.

this type dishonest journalism has been going on unchallenged for decades.
and the bogus stat's have been used w/o question by unqualified,
unscrupulous "judges" to further their nests as part of the scam.

the only reason it is being challenged and changed now is because
of the pressure honest citizens have applied via the net.
we finally have a voice that can't be muzzled; and, the whole
world is watching.

i heard the nyt is close to going under.
couldn't happen to a better bunch.

good riddance i say. you guys should have gotten a REAL education.
feminism & bigotry are not legitimate parts of a quality education.
