No jail time for Hermiston woman who abused teens

Story here. Excerpt:

'HERMISTON -- A teacher's assistant who pleaded guilty to sexually abusing teenage boys won't have to spend time in prison.

Following a plea bargain, Umatilla County Judge Garry Reynolds this week sentenced Roxana Mata to three years of probation on charges of rape and sexual abuse.

Mata, 23, must pay a $500 fine for each victim and can't have contact with children other than her own two kids and the one she is expecting.

She must also perform community service, write letters of apology to her victims, take part in an alcohol program and register as a sex offender.'

of the concept of inequality under the law.

example: teacher's assistant who pleaded guilty to sexually abusing
three 15 year old teenage girls won't have to spend time in prison.

judge reynolds this week sentenced Joe mata to three years probation on charges
of rape and sexual abuse. he must also pay $500 fine for each victim, write
letters of apology, go to AA and register as a sex offender.

i like the feminist type punishment of writing letters of apology.

yep, that's justice in femamerika.

that's not law. what do they call it i wonder?
notice how the media included that the victims did not want her to go
to prison, and the last line d.a. said "one of them said he loved her".

OK - i see it now. if they love you it is soooo much better.

Let's see, a man who has a single picture of some naked brat on his hard drive can get 30 years in prison for it but a female teacher can actually rape several children and only has to write letters of apology and pay a couple of hundred dollars and a couple of other minor things to avoid jail time?

I hope the lawyers who defend men who have been charge with what this teacher did use the sentencing as a guideline for their clients sentencing.

This society is in melt down mode and the sooner it happens the better!

the more i think about this letter writing thing
the more i like it. my mom was always big on me
writing "Thank You" letters as i was growing up.

it could catch on.
maybe all the guys in prison for rape could write letters
to their victims. this could be good. it would be
great for their rehabilitation back into society.

if it did catch on maybe wallmart or cvs could have
a section of cards just for that special victim.

**just a card to let you know
oh how much i miss you so

it's sorry i am for losing control
but very soon i'll be out no parole.**

see ya later lover,

convict #321765

isn't that what got the good looking blonde in
Fla. in trouble where she actually had to (God forbid) spend time in prison?
writing to her victim while on probation?
sent him some racy emails or some such.
tried to get back in touch, so to speak.

stupid idea huh? no punishment, no crime. no incentive to stop either.
this is what happens when judges lose perspective,
and ethics become impossible to find.
the whole "profession" becomes a joke on late-nite TV.

w/o Equality there can be no Justice.

Now a days they teach kids that if today you feel like you are female (and vice versa) that is what you are and your right so you can choose to use the bathroom of "your gender" that you feel that you are today. SO....

In court can a guy claim I feel I am a woman today or was a woman when I did that so he can get the same verdict?

Just wondering.
