UK: Lesbian soldier gets £200,000 payout in harassment case

"A lesbian soldier last night celebrated winning almost £200,000 compensation after being subjected to a lewd campaign of sexual harassment by a male sergeant.

Her award easily outstrips the £161,000 offered to double amputee Marine Ben McBean, who was hailed a 'real hero' by Prince Harry. Her compensation was branded 'obscene' by one Forces organisation.

Shaun Rusling, of the National Gulf Veterans' and Families Association, added: 'We don't agree with anyone being picked on but it is just Miss Fletcher's feelings that have been hurt. She will get better. You do not get better when your arms and legs have been blown off.'"

These compensation awards are beyond belief. Even if true a few thousand would seem adequate. Just what sort of values do we have?

Just when are the British people, men and the taxpayers in particular going to say enough is enough and get rid of these bizarre payouts?

The West is supposed to be oh so sensitive to human rights violations and exploitation by other governments but the governmental oppression here at home seems to be ignored or not recognized for what is really is!

    ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

    I believe there is a legal term for the crime this lesbian is committing - BLACKMAIL!

    If she is not hired by the police force, she will sue for gender discrimination.

    If she is hired, she will be like a kid in a candy store contemplating which men on the force are harassing her.

    Imagine what it will be like having a litigation time bomb like Miss Fletcher around! Great for team morale...

    She has figured out the game pretty well!

    couple weeks ago everyone was debating why some guys were not wanting
    to take SH classes at work. i just counted the pros & cons of the replies to this art., and which sex voted for what.

    yes= she deserved it, should be more, good for her, etc.

    no= crazy bi%6h, sorry system, real soldiers getting limbs blown off ..., etc.

    women = 9 yes, 4 no

    men = 1 yes, 7 no

    unknown = 1 yes, 2 no.

    26 total replies. couple i couldn't tell.

    as always in life, those on the receiving end of these harrassment judgements
    (women) always want more, more, more. THAT is why men don't want to sit thru this
    type corrupt lunacy. it's just about the $$$. people know the judicial system is broke and
    this is the time to get them some free $$. just claim victimhood. works all over
    the place, huh? except for most males.

    imho - when she sues again when she doesn't get the job she should be arrested
    and charged w/ trying to influence government officials. there are laws against intimidation of gov. officials to seek reward, aren't there?
