Sperm Warfare, Another Male Contraceptive Update

Article here. Excerpt:

'Men are short-changed when it comes to birth control. Vasectomy is painful and not always reversible. Condoms blunt pleasure, break and slip off. Or there is that Russian-roulette standby, coitus interruptus.
...
“Men want new contraceptive methods,” says Elaine Lissner, director of the non-profit Male Contraception Information Project in San Francisco.A decade ago demand wasn't there and it was assumed women wouldn't trust men to take charge of birth control anyway. That has changed.”'

What does it have to do with women trusting men? Why can't it be about men wanting to control their own procreation?

It appears from the newest research that regulating sperm production is one of science's biggest mysteries.

Wonder what "Mother Nature" had in mind when she made it so complex?

Maybe, survival of the species?

Men's sperm counts are falling 2% a year, the cause is believed to be because of "xenoestrogens", chemicals that when entered into the body mimic the effects of estrogen, they are in virtually every product we use today from shampoos to canned food to drinking water. One article I came across said that by 2050 most men, in the western world at least, will be infertile, i.e. a sperm count lower than 20 million per ejactualtion and will need fertility treatment to conceive. I think the irony around the holy grail of male contraceptive is that all these MRA's want something to make them infertile, when the reality is more and more men are becoming infertile and will struggle to get a girl pregnant anyway. Scientists may have to abandon their attempts of trying to make men stop producing sperm and instead concentrate on making men produce more sperm. Or maybe the plan is to make all men infertile, hence useless, and usher in the feminist utopia of women being able to produce sperm via bone marrow stem cells.

Well, it depends whether or not this happens after or before the World energy wars since women are too precious to die in more than token amounts for a nation or cause.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but could it be that lack of availability of medicine or chemical male contraception is happening on purpose? If males could have effective contraception that doesn't involve pregnancy risk (ie condom breaking), then their would be significantly less unplanned pregnancies and, in turn, much less forced fatherhood, child support demand, and child support collection. Imagine the US as a country where more women with children would have to work because they couldn't live off the child support from their 3 babies daddies.

After those wars the global energy crisis will break out (as well as the crisis with drinking water and with other resources) and women as extremely resource ineffective machines will be doomed to gradually disappear and to be replaced by the Artificial Womb.

So sperm counts are falling, eh? You don't think there could possibly be any connection with the epidemic of depicting men's testicles getting kicked, hammered, punched, shot off and generally used as target practice for all and sundry - images invariably presented to us as something we are supposed to find absolutely hilarious?

It strikes me that societies that have such utter contempt for the miraculous process by which men create new life entirely from within their own bodies (something incidentally that women cannot do), must be terminally sick.

So maybe Nature has decided that since we constantly demonstrate that we have not a shred of respect for the delicate and wonderful machinery we have been given to create life, then we simply don't deserve to survive, and it is time to end the great human experiment - by steadily running it down into the ground. Because when men cannot reproduce themselves, all human life is finished.

If so, we cannot complain.

I have heard this nonsense about reduction in sperm count. Really its just a feminist slur. The implication is that if our sperm count falls by half the we are half the men we where. But you just to have to look around and see the world population is still growing. So what are these people talking about?
