"Support? System Down" released

'LOS ANGELES, Aug 08, 2008 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- "I'm a dad, not a wallet." What may prompt millions of non-custodial dads to say this phrase -- or at least think it? How is it that millions of children of divorce or separation may wonder why they can't see their beloved Dad, or sometimes Mom, more than 4 to 6 days a month, if that? These are just two of the important questions raised by Angelo Lobo, Producer and Director of the full-length documentary "Support? System Down," which examines problems within the nation's child support system.
...
The film contends that many fathers, and some mothers, can't even get their "visitation" court orders enforced. The system's unfairness can also affect our military men and women. Parents want equal parenting -- not "visitor" status. Most parents don't have to be convinced to do the right thing in supporting their children; they already are willing and able to do that. Nevertheless, many believe that the family court and child support systems treat them and their families unjustly. The children suffer the most.'

OK, any positive press is good press!?
Not to be to sarcastic here, but what is the comment about many willing wage slaves lining up to be abused? Why should anyone have to pay anything? 50% custody, both parents live in the same school district, no body pays anybody. Do you think the single parent situation just might change a little? Do you think that marriage for investment might just begin to dwindle? Might even put a stop to the frivolous waste of Human resources in the search of money, just think of all the People that can help change things that would have nothing better to do! I mean all of the gov. employees that are paid to ruin Peoples lives, and not to mention the law makers and shakers that feed off of this corrupt system! Just a thought!

When is it coming to Los Angeles
I see the press release uses Los Angeles as the location so when will the movie actually be shown here in Los Angeles???
There's such a concept called "timeliness" in the journalistic world. Old news is stale news. This movie has been ready to show for a long time. If it doesn't get out soon, it will be old news nobody is interested in. Why make a movie and be so slow about releasing it to the public? When will DVD's be available for purchase?
