The submitter's comments about never trusting a woman, etc., I can't say I agree with. I will say that any given man needs to be very careful in assessing the fitness of a mate in terms of her sincerity and trustworthiness. Personally my standards around this are very high. Any woman I marry or have kids with will be eminently trustworthy and of proven dedication to our relationship as well as impeccable character (at least where it counts... couldn't care less if she likes to visit Vegas from time to time, as long as she is using her own money to do it!). Granted, such a woman for any given man is hard to find, and as I have mentioned before, if it means you die childless (or child-free, depending on how you see it) and single, well, for God's sake, be sure you take advantage of that state and have fun while in it!

But as for the man who chose (assuming he did-- as we know, he has no say in whether a pregnancy ends or goes to term) to have a kid with Ms. Driver, well, he obviously chose badly. The stakes are high, men. If you do decide to go there... choose well!

'Never trust women ever'. This might not be an absolute truth but it's certainly the way to bet. I think this story encapsulates so much of what the problem is and why the MM is so powerless. Firstly you have the guy so subjugated by his sexual needs that he is without self respect or pride. He is willing to absolutely debase himself for a drip feed of sexual satisfaction. As I describe it he is enchanted by the magic orifice. This is not just a description of this particular guy but of all us - even you and me. Then we have the woman so confident and completely self assured in her beliefs; her mind absolutely certain in its own thoughts.

I like stories like this one because though extreme it capture so much of the essence of the destructive relation ship between men and women. I know many like to just isolate the problem to feminism. I can not quite see it that way. Feminism could not exist if it did not resonate with something intrinsic within women - it must come from something within then. Thank you for this. I do appreciate your comment. Doing these things can be a thankless task. I suppose may be unlike others I do feel we are well into a terrible end game. My visions are all bleak. I don't claim to be more knowing or insightful than others but the stench of the foulness in the air almost overwhelms me.

Apparently, her "guy" is good enough to bring a human being into existence....but still less important than a labrador or yoga teacher when it comes to actually raising the child.

If I were that "guy" i'd fight for sole custody of the child solely on principal.
