New state program will focus on kids, families, and... fathers?

You read that correctly. According to this article, a new state program aimed at helping families will hire a coordinator specifically to look at how existing programs can be used to help fathers, or what new programs could be implemented for them. Excerpt:
"Traditional programs have been aimed at helping women, said Terence Ray, director of the Milwaukee Fatherhood Initiative. "It's good to see that the movement has evolved into understanding that when you talk parenting, there's another parent," Ray said."

Be careful
Be very careful. When state-controlled organisations start using terms like "involving" and "engaging" fathers, what they mean may turn out to be very different from what you think they should mean.
