Police Using Topless Sunbathers to Lure Men in Parks
Not content to arrest men for wearing speedos in a McDonald's, law enforcement now has to start luring them into sexual situations in parks and arrest them. Story here. Excerpt:
'Robin Garrison, an off-duty 42-year-old firefighter, was walking in Berliner Park in Columbus, Ohio, in May when he saw a woman sunbathing topless under a tree.
...
Eventually, she asked to see Garrison's penis; he unzipped his pants and complied.
Seconds later, undercover police officers pulled up in a van and arrested Garrison; he was later charged with public indecency, a misdemeanor, based on video footage taken by cops who were targeting men having sex or masturbating in the park. While topless sunbathing is legal in the city's parks, exposing more than that is against the law.
...
At Garrison's trial, his attorney argued that it was a case of entrapment. "Columbus police utilized this topless woman to snare this man," said Sam Shamansky. "He sees her day after day. He's not some seedy pervert."
The argument failed to sway a Franklin County Municipal Court jury that found Garrison guilty of public indecency last month. He was ordered to stay away from the park, placed on a year's probation and fined $250. Currently, Garrison remains on paid desk duty while the fire department conducts an internal investigation into his behavior.'

For those of you who think
For those of you who think this might be paranoid thinking, let me tell you, this is an active and controlled method of creating fear in our society. The police know exactly what they are doing, and the politicians are driving it.
This is how they gain control and you lose your rights, First they instill the fear, then they tell you in order to protect you, you must give up some rights.
Women have no problem giving up thier rights. They see the state as a protector, somthing that will keep the bad men away.
Fuking stupid!
Time to riot.
These guys are being seduced by the police officers and being asked to show their penis and then are arrested for it???? It's time for American men to riot. What a fucked up country. "We gotta put those normal guys in jail while the actual flashers stalk the playgrounds"????? WTF? Whats next, offering homeless men food on the subway and then fining them for eating it? Sick.
show me yours and i'll ...
notice how the "bait" was not just sitting around, but was sitting
around exposing herself (topless) to set the mood. wonder why she had to be topless? mmmmm
i guess if you don't have enough crime, go make some.
this tactic will work great at Mardis Gras
"hey baby, show me some boobs"
ah ha - you are under arrest.
that reminds me, when does MG start?
i need some vacation time.
yep
Man you are so right, Hugo. This is unbelievable. This firefighter is now all over the news, the internet, and his career and life will never be the same. Meanwhile there are murders going on down the street that take 1/2 hour response times because these pigs are busy chasing boogeymen in the park. Seriously, I would love to be there and riot, or at least taunt and expose their "operations." Imagine, taxpayer money is being used for this total garbage that is just aimed at publicity.
Aren't these bitches breaking the law...
...by being topless in a fucking park? I am pretty sure men don't want their innocent "male" children -- fuck girls -- being flashed by some high-heel wearing Ameriskank with silicone breasts.
I know I wouldn't.

The Jury Speaks
I just bet the makeup of the jury that convicted him was comprised mostly of MEN!
The jury had a golden opportunity to strike a blow against misandric driven entrapment but took a pass! Idiots! Too damned bad!
I would just love to go into this park with a video camera and take a video of all of these entrapment skanks and post it on the web!
Sus Laws Make Us Safer
The same article details how NYC cops plant wallets in the subway and then arrest any man who picks one up!
A lawyer interviewed for the piece says it is not entrapment to present a person with the opportunity to commit a crime.
And the judicial system approves of these tactics because they are "preventing crimes that might be committed in the future."
Anybody seen the flick "Minority Report?"
Anybody been to Jamaica where they have had "sus laws" on the books for thirty years?
In paradise, you can be arrested for the "suspicion of the intent" to commit a crime.
Welcome to the predicted Brave New World.
Prove you are NOT a criminal, right now.
MrReality, It says right in
MrReality,
It says right in the annotated part that topless sunbathing is legal in their city parks, so no, they aren't breaking the law.
Holy Double Standard Batman!
Let me get this straight. Women can lay topless in a park without being charged with indecency, but if a man exposes himself, he's arrested. Anyone else smell a huge steaming pile of horse shit? That's exactly what this is. Why the fuck don't those lazy ass pigs go catch the real criminals instead of actually increasing the number of crimes committed by entraping people? Fuckin bullshit. It's like they're failures when it comes to bringing dangerous people to justice, so they have to make crimes happen, in which they can get glory for catching the perpetrators. Isn't that kind of like a doctor purposely making his patients ill, so he can get credit for when they recover? I don't see any difference. This world seems to get more retarded every single day. Oh and BTW I think that article's title is a little inaccurate too. It should be "pervert helps police catch perverts" cause if you ask somebody to take their penis out, who's the real pervert?

Real Men Don't Take Abuse!
It's also disgusting that
It's also disgusting that the people's tax money is going towards these kind of operations.
Can you imagine if these
Can you imagine if these were gay men being entrapped? The liberal media would be outraged!
Touche.
It seems our society is on a witchhunt for str8 men. Of course, they wouldn't be able to entrap gay men as easily, because men aren't allowed to expose themselves in the park, like women. Like I said, there certainly is a stench in the air from this BS.

Madness
It's madness alright; but not everyone is infected. Read the comments submitted on the original article. There are plenty of people who see through this bullshit and are calling it like it is; and some of them have suggestions that ought to send shivers up the spines of the scumbags who dreamed up this disgusting entrapment idea. If they had spines, of course...
Meanwhile, just consider the damage being done by this garbage. Here is a firefighter who is now deskbound. What are the chances that somebody will now die in a fire because of the absence of Mr Garrison from the scene? And just how many other people are dying or suffering because the men who could have helped them are banged up in prison or under virtual house arrest on trumped-up charges of this kind?
I understand America now has the largest prison population in the world. Does this mean you are the most criminal country, or just the one that has gone furthest down the road of believing that having a penis is a criminal act in itself? This insanity has to end or you will not have a country left. Once the majority of your male population are behind bars, your economy and institutions will collapse. Is this what your crazy leaders want?
Civilisation: man's greatest, and most unappreciated, gift to women
Maybe next year they'll come
Maybe next year they'll come up with a law that punishes men who refuse to show their cocks to women who demand to see them. There's no telling what these narcissists will do.
That Law Already Exists
SOTLs,
That law already exists.
It's called VAWA. The Violence Against Women Act.
If a woman wants you to be legally required to expose your genitals, all she has to do is dial three numbers on her cell and speak four words --
"911 ... I'm afraid of him."
You will be spreading your cheeks for the gender-neutral goon squad in county jail before you can say -- "Cupcake, what happened?"
If you're skeptical, just try a little experiment with your trusted soulmate, and report back....
While I agree with the part about this being completly fucked up
I do not at all agree with:
"We gotta put those normal guys in jail while the actual flashers stalk the playgrounds"
Huh? actual flashers stalking playgrounds? Where? Show me the epidemic. I googled flashers, flashing, 'flasher arrested', and I found only one case this year of a person specifically flashing at a school. Most flashers - are actually streakers - pulling some prank or stunt as a right of initiation or whatnot. The others seem to flash only public placed where ADULTS congregate not children.
Drop the fucking fear mongering crap. There is no epidemic of people specifically aiming to expose children to the awful trauma of viewing the naked male body.
Be a REAL MRA and stop proposing fairness for men on one hand while spreading complete fear mongering bullshit about men with the other hand
Please name a right that women have given up
I'll give you the last two centuries and the whole of Western Society (as that is the most relevant frame of reference for members here) as a parameter to narrow your search down. Please name one example over the last two centuries.
You should say:
"Women have no problem giving up MENS rights. They see the state as a protector, somthing that will keep the bad men away."

Probably ... not
It's possible that I am that Roy.
But really, I'm more keen right now to educate my daughters about the blues.
Delta music, that is.
The anti-dote to American feminism.
A little Robert Johnson goes a long way...
;-)
Double Standard
MrReality,
It says right in the annotated part that topless sunbathing is legal in their city parks, so no, they aren't breaking the law.
They also say all men are rapists and killers, which happens to be against the law yet they conduct which hunts as if they were fully legal.
So, A woman exposing her private body parts is legal, but a man exposing his is not? That's nonsense, not justice.
If you want to accept that as "not breaking the law" go right ahead.

paragon
Drop the zealousness dude. The point I am making is that the men being arrested have no premeditated plan to show their wilkins in public, while there are, in fact, men and women (i never specified gender nor implied it was a freakin epidemic) flashers that plan on going out and flashing strangers.
Given the circumstances the men in the sting and the firefighter are acting like any normal sexually-healthy heterosexual man being seduced by what they think is a willing female. They are no threat to society. I personally don't think it is normal to run around and expose your self to strangers, it probably can be traumatizing to children. People in this, yes, vastly small minority, should be deterred, unfortunately it's not flashers but normal men being entrapped by this sting.
This sting is an example of how demonized men's sexuality is, it does punish men for following their most basic nature but it's also quite ineffectual and stupid. Relax man, I think we are on the same page.
Expensive Winkies...
A whole lot of homeless men could be housed and fed for what it is costing to subsidize the "winky perp patrol" to entrap men with tax-payer funded naked female breasts.
This used to be a great country.
Look at what we have become, under feminism.
A silly joke.
Not taken seriously.

It is my opinion that this is why other nations no longer take the United States seriously. A nation that lets whiny women -- and their victim politics -- rule them, exploit them, and ruin them is not worthy of respect.

Correction.
Look at what we have become under self-absorbed women with no boundaries or laws regulating them, chivalrous men, and a society that refuses to hold women responsible for anything.

Hujo, Don't feed your enemies
Maybe it's just me but I don't think flashing can really traumatize anyone for more then a few seconds. Plus, like I said, Google it, you'll find that there is NO ONE who fits your example of 'stalking playgrounds' out there.
Your absolute worst imaginable scenario line of thinking is what has men getting arrested for shit like this in the first place. Fear of shit like boogie men stalking playgrounds is not something an MRA should be thinking, encouraging, or justifying in any way shape or form. We are trying to CHANGE the perception of men in society not merely maintain the status quo.
We are definitely on the same page, and no, you did not specify a gender for the word 'flashers' (but don't try to tell me that when you or any other living breathing human being in the Western world hears that word they picture a female). But even saying that makes people reflexively think boogie MAN when the reality is most of the 'perpetrators' of the crime of flashing (indecent exposure) are not doing it for any sexually motivated reason at all (mostly initiation rights and pranks and in this case entrapment).
paragon
I think there is a big difference between flashing and streaking. You're right a lot of public nudity is harmless streaking among adults, that's not what I meant by flasher. It honestly is *some* peoples fetish to expose them selfs to strangers and even touch them selfs whilst doing it, on subways in parks, wherever. I remember as a child there was a flasher exposing himself to the students of my school as they walked home. It happens, not often and no not always in playgrounds but I am not gonna apologize for a "quoted" sarcastic comment. I'm not gonna sit here and pretend it doesn't happen so as not to offend your ideal of what the perfect mra says about men (even though i never said it was MEN). I don't even know why you're offended. How am I responsible for other peoples gender bias? When I use a gender neutral term for a criminal act I intend it to be a gender neutral term but i will not pretend men are incapable of these acts anymore than a feminist would pretend women are incapable as perpetrators of DV. Sex offenders, pedophiles, child ubducters exist and i think the police would do a better job spending your money dreaming up tactics to catch them rather than just criminalizing your average joe for showing his goods to some demanding, horny, topless tart they placed in the park.
All I am saying is it's also a waste of money and effort that could be better spent catching real male and female criminals. Just what the fuck is wrong with that?
I will apologize for the fucked up country line as my country, Canada, is no better. One example, our supreme court ordered Air Canada to pay stewardesses the same as mechanics and pilots in the name of gender equality. Feminism's female advancing/male demonizing influence spreads and creates inequality and oppression throughout the industrial/western/first world.
Hey, I hate to keep on you
Hey, I hate to keep on you guys, but I will.
What have you done this week to advance our cause????
May I suggest printing a bunch of business card size pieces of paper, with mensactivism.org writen on them.
keep 20 or so in you're wallet, and strike up a few words with men in coffee shops or grocery lines, and just give them the web site address.
do it for the team!!
thank you!!
interesting viewpoint
The article says the cops are targeting men for having sex in the park. How about the people they are having sex WITH..presumably women - are they not also to be arrested? Of course most of them will cry "rape!" when they're seen by the cops anyway.
something else interesting..or at least completely different
Paragon says "NO ONE who fits your example of 'stalking playgrounds' out there"
Perhaps not, but I was googling a few months ago (can't remember on what topic) and received a hit which took me to a news story (a real one), about how a middle school was locked down because a large man, wearing high heels and nothing else, was seen walking on school grounds (I think it was someplace in the Midwest).

I Just Scored A Hit!
Good point Scott. We all should try to do something to advance our cause whenever possible.
Today I got a female named Jane to agree with me that making a false rape accusation is rape.
Luek wrote:
Making a false sexual assault allegation should be a felony punishable by what a real sexual felon would receive. A false accusation of rape IS RAPE! Just ask the Duke University lacrosse players.
Ok Luek... I don't believe that I have EVER agreed with anything you've said...
HOWEVER, I want to thank you for this post. I honestly never thought about it this way.
And my reply to her:
Jane wrote:

HOWEVER, I want to thank you for this post. I honestly never thought about it this way.
And THANK YOU for your post agreeing with me on this most serious topic. I am glad that I am not the only one that sees the hippopotamus in the living room that everyone else seems to not see or prefers to ignore. Now to get our legislators to see it too.
You still missed the heart of my criticism
My point was simple, and I am not offended at all, it's just that you used an example that is unrealistic in that it is NOT an appropriate description of the vast majority of cases of public indecency and geared towards inspiring the deepest darkest fears of the reader. Using a 'worst case imaginable' example tends to make people want to support moronic ideas like having female cops make 80,000/year to sun tan nude in the park.
That's all, that's the entirety of my criticism, otherwise I agree with you. Oh, and by the way, I to am from Canada.
Sure fucked up shit happens...
But that does not mean that it is by any means common or that we should make rules based on these extremely rare examples. That's the whole point of the MRA movement if you ask me. We are not here denying that crime happens, just that we should not demonize all men because crime happens and we also should not treat all crime as if it is the worst crime that can be imagined because what we are capable of imagining is ALWAYS worse then what really happened.
Actually I was just trying to inject some humor
Although the story was true.

It happens
http://tinyurl.com/2bap67
http://tinyurl.com/ywcsaa
Found these with google. It happens not often but it does. Getting cops to pose as half naked hussies demanding to see cock wont put an end to that. Marc is right, ultimately this is just publicity. They're hoping to fool the public into thinking they're doing their job and preventing incidences like the ones above, they're hoping people will believe these men are the kind of men that would do this without invitation. Unfortunately many will. That old familiar scapegoat, the demonized male.
May I Shake Your Tits?
What if this guy just fondled this skank's tits?
Would he be arrested for a sexual assault or simple battery? The logic seems to be that women's breasts are no different from men's breasts in that men can go shirtless then women can too.
I would suspect the guy would be arrested for a sexual crime rather than a simple battery. It is the same femi-fascist logic that someone can be charged with murder if they somehow cause a fetus to miscarry but the same fetus can be aborted at the behest of the mother and no crime has been committed.
It is a Hillary Cliton(sic) type world we have now.
Undercover Topless?
I believe battery (a misdemeanor) is usually defined as "an act of an insulting or provocative nature."
Given the feminist take-over of DV laws, many men have been convicted of "battery" without ever physically contacting their victims. Seems illogical, but you can be labelled a "batterer" without ever laying a finger on a woman.
If this hapless fireman (errr.. fireperson) had touched the undercover policewoman's breasts, he probably would have faced a charge of aggravated assault, if not attempted rape - both felonies.
And BTW, how can she be "undercover" and topless at the same time?
Oh, she's a lesbian?
Makes perfect sense now.
