Re: the letter to 'Dear Abby' and her response, quoted in the chapter from Farrell's book: I remember a few months ago, Abby listed "10 possible signs your husband is having an affair". One of them is "he buys new underwear." Isn't she amazingly insightful? Okay, all you married guys know what that means: wear 'em til they're green! And do your own laundry, which we all 'know' men never do anyway.
