'Authorities said Kennedy plunged her son into the water on Christmas Day 2005. The boy suffered severe burns and went a week without treatment before dying.
"You took away his life in a way that was preventable," Circuit Judge Jeffrey Levinson told Kennedy. "You subjected him to pain, you subjected him to suffering, and you let him wither."'

This poor woman was just exercising her god given right to kill and get away with it. It comes with the double x chromosome gene. What agony she must have endured when that MALE BRAT soiled its diaper..that is nasty, nasty, nasty. She was just reacting to the bad situation the best of her ability and in a patriarchial oppressed social struture. She should just play the Andrea Yates Get Out Of Jail Scott Free Card.
Look at the wording...

"...you let him wither."
Sounds like this came dangerously close to a 'neglect' charge.
