Whatever the rate of false accusations used to be, it's gone way up, which is only to be expected. Do you think that you can protect an entire class of criminal-- the false accuser-- and not have more of that type of crime?

Actually, I wonder if it has gone up at all. I wouldn't be surprised to learn it has always been high, although pandering to rape hysterics has gotten worse.

I've just started reading "Women of the Klan" (recommended by MrReality). Its supposed to trace the origins of rape hysteria.
