Story here. Oh how the press eats it up! Sexy ex-stripper goads fiance #2 to kill fiance #1 using a Hollywood script and her own "wiles". Has all the makings of not one but five Oprah episodes and dozens of made-for-TV movies.

Body count: 2. Fiance #1 dead, fiance #2 in jail

Meanwhile a sociopath gets all the limelight she can handle. Let's see how much time if any she actually gets. She'll probably make a fortune on book deals and appearances.

Excerpt:

'ANCHORAGE, Alaska - In the 1994 movie “The Last Seduction,” a femme fatale coaxes her lover into killing her husband for money. Prosecutors say a beautiful stripper obsessed with the film followed the script to its murderous end.

Mechele Linehan, 34, is on trial on charges she masterminded the decade-old slaying of her fiancé in hopes of collecting $1 million in insurance.

Life and art were so similar, prosecutors say, that they even sought, unsuccessfully, to have the movie shown to the jury.'

I have on the news channels at work all day and haven't heard this story mentioned once!! Since it has a script to it, you'd think that they'd be all over it just like Scott Peterson. Oh, I forgot, there is a woman on trial here. I predict at least a hung jury. Don't even tell me she was allowed affordable bail...

Notice how the story goes out of its way to say the man who pulled the trigger was depressed, so he acted alone.
