Yes, you guessed it gents. Girl abandons baby in hospital. In less than two weeks, she wants the baby back. As usual, an article with the normal female bias: "She is not a monster. She is just human like the rest of us. She just made a poor, bad decision." Let's just not talk about what would happen if a "confused and depressed" 18 year old father did the same thing. I can think of four things that would happen: felony charges, felony conviction, hard prison time, and no sympathy from the press and television news.

Why did they not once say the father's name?

Not once did they give him a name.
That girl is selfish and thoughtless. She should be treated like a man and not only never be allowed near the one she gave away but also lose the one she has.
That's what would happen to a father in the same situation.
Oh, and no male who did something like that would have 'nursing' as a career option either as he'd be branded a monster and never allowed to work with vulnerable individuals.
Sorry kid, your mom threw you away but now she wants you back so off you go. Maybe she'll resent you now that you are an added burden and kill you later, but that's a risk we the State are happy to take.

Don't be silly. The guy was a jerk who ran off when he found out she was pregnant. Typical guy.
Atleast, that's what people said about him on other sites the last time the article was posted, before the media went through the trouble of actually investigating.
True about what was said of him...
... but like a typical girl, the truth revealed by this second article regarding this case is that she never once for even a fraction of a second thought of anyone but herself.
Her concerns were all about what people would think of her and what her life would be with two kids at 18. Not one thought for her the baby, her family who loves her but obviously spoiled the hell out of the little brat, her boyfriend who is obviously a caring guy who loves his child and wants the second child as well, or anyone else in her life.
She thought for 9 1/2 months - as I am sure she has for 18 years - exclusively about her self, her wants, her desires, her wishes and let no one else enter her mind.
Yep, real good mom she must be. A real winner of a caring compassionate human being.
Just a typical self obsessed female. Of course now that both families and her boyfriend have stepped up to the plate to volunteer to raise the child for her, she of course wants it back.
