Male Gender Bias Test AKA "What Would Gloria Steinem Do?"

I'm not sure how many of you have seen this already, but it's a hilarious Q&A about gender feminism's paranoid, anti-male psychosis. It's also about the funniest thing I've ever seen that contains the words "gender" and "feminists". Thanks to Fred X for pointing it out.

The article is amusing to me, but I am starting to wonder about terms like 'gender feminist', as it is used repeatedly in the article's quiz. Quite frankly, I think there might be some political correctness going on when using terms such as these - 'ideological feminists', 'gender feminists', 'radical feminists', etc. Look, let's cut to the chase and use a qualifier that more accurately hits the mark: 'THE VAST MAJORITY OF feminists'. There is a danger lurking where even MRA's seek to acknowledge that there are a few valid feminist organizations..which certainly there are (so I guess this is MY acknowledgement!)..but do we really need to do this every time we use the word 'feminist(s)'? What IS a 'gender feminist' anyway?? Yep, feminism's about gender..

I am of course well aware of what the user of this phrase means: the really nutty feminists, the totally biased feminists, the, well..radical feminists. But are the radical feminists the only ones we need to worry about? I suggest almost anyone calling herself (or himself) a feminist is a potential threat to a healthy society. The bottom line question is "do we really need feminism anymore?". After all, women have equality in opportunity. How much more can simply be handed to someone? It is now time to take advantage of the opportunities and move onward, instead of just sitting around and 'finding' more barriers and glass ceilings.
The one remaining vestige of inequality that needs to be addressed, is equality of responsibility for crimes committed. Any guesses on when the 'gender feminists' might take up that issue?

In fact, there is a version of this "quiz" that just says "feminists", and not "gender feminists", here:
http://www.totse.com/en/politics/political_spew/162123.html

I guess that this was the original one, and the one linked to in the article changed "feminists" into "gender feminists" because of political correctness. Of course, the version that says "feminists" is much closer to the truth (and funnier).

I agree this is how Feminism remains blameless and faceless as it can pass the buck to it's umpteen branches and waves.

Modern feminisms venue is no longer academia, not government, it is poop culture, a vague and often meaningless culture that is more properly defined as misanthropic, yet they use this vague genre to create sexist examples out of anything in order to embitter young women while stifling young men. By taking selective, convenient views of any issue/ "issue" they have made every thing male sexist and everything female oppressed. Like pretending only women live in poverty, like making the media into some misogynist entity by using only examples like “king of queens” but conveniently ignoring movies like My Super Ex Girlfriend.

It does not surprise me however that pop culture is the only area where western feminism can now survive, as it is not relevant in reality anymore.

I think we can agree the first wave was needed but after that it became a corrupt and tainted anti-sex anti-male movement. So it is not only the majority of modern feminists that are the radical, nutty and anti-male variety, the majority of the movement has been nutty radical and anti-male.

I think it has become OK to resent what feminism has become and how it operates and I think we should just use the general term feminism, other wise we are only helping feminism to pass the buck and remain blameless.

hello

i e-mailed this "test" to a random professor from the woman's studies program at my college. i have no idea who she is, but i asked her to respond to my e-mail. i doubt she'll respond, but if she does, i can't wait to read her bullshit.
