No more men! NASA considers all-female crew for the 2024 Artemis moon mission

'A student asked during the live-streamed session if NASA had considered sending an all-female crew for the Artemis session.

Mr Bridenstine said: "Have we considered it? Yes, and it wouldn't surprise me if that's what we did.”

He also said the crew had not been picked yet but that the first American woman and the next American man will visit the moon by 2024.

He continued: "We could have a crew of two women going to the moon within five years.”

The Artemis mission is on a tight schedule with delays to NASA’s Space Launch System.

The rocket system will launch the Orion crew capsule and the moon-bound astronauts on their journey.

So far, only men have visited the moon but the Artemis mission could allow two female astronauts to walk the moon."'

It was all a Cold War hoax to one-up the Russians. The landings were all filmed in secret studios. Or hadn't you heard?

the sandy hook school shooting hoax, nothing surprises me anymore.

7 years I worked as an eng at ksc and cc and I don't know if any of the moon landing was faked. the Apollo series craft were around me, relics. I do know the shuttles went into space and came back down as I was on 'red crew' during launch.

what amazed me the most was how advanced the ussaf launch program was. they would launch a delta anytime w/o notice and by strapping solids all around them headed into deep space. they had a diff launch trajectory too. in the 90's we were launching shuttles pretty often but the af was launching at a rate of about 1.5 to our 1, and had been for decades, and still are. yet people think we have abandoned the space program. lots more out there than people know, and they are lots more advanced than average joe could ever imagine.

we have needed a space force for a while now. I often attended meetings at Patrick AFB in Melbourne where the af space command was sort of centered. nice beaches.
