McCain Uses Racial Epithet While Avoiding Question About Fathers' Rights

McCain was answering a question from a man who wanted to know if he would talk about fathers' having equal access to their children after divorce, CNN reported. The quote:
"For me to stand here before all these people and say that I'm going to declare divorces invalid because someone feels that they weren't treated fairly in court, we are getting into a, uh, uh, tar baby of enormous proportions" - McCain
The phrase 'tar Baby' is considered derogatory to Blacks.

Not only that, what he replied was utterly...
... nonsensical relative to the question. It was like his answer was to another question. But in any case, we can see that the controversial part of his statement aside, he was simply dodging the question in a way that doesn't speak well of him. Alas you will have trouble finding any national-level pol in the US today willing to take a stand on this issue. The good news is, local pols are doing so, so the message will filter upward-- eventually.
I agree totally..I was going to make a point of that..
I just didn't want my post to be too long, i.e. comply with the submission guidelines. If you guys check the link, you will see that was only part of his nonsensical response. What does he mean, "overturn divorces"..it sounds like not only does he not know anything about fathers' rights, he does not even understand anything about the legal issues involved in marriage or divorce. He himself must have rushed into a quickie Vegas marriage or something :->

McCain lags in recent polls
Republican Presidential Nomination (Fox News Poll)
RCP Average
Giuliani 37.4%
McCain 21.4%
Romney 8.1%
Gingrich 10.3%
I respect McCain for his veteran status. He endured such a horrific stretch as a POW. As for him "side stepping" the fathers rights question, male politicians simply cannot support any issues that is considered male rights. Its almost a form of political correctness. Support fathers rights?...No WAY!...can't lose the female demographic. Gentlemen, we are on our own, don't expect any support from politicians.

What local Pols? Where is this happening? I'm not seeing it in California.
