To Prevent Spike In Domestic Violence Around Soccer Game, Scottish Police Remove Abusers From Homes
Article here. Excerpt:

*Facepalm*
I'm all for preventing domestic violence, but this is "Minority Report" style stuff. It creates a serious ethical dilemma to detain someone on suspicion that they might commit a crime, rather than because it is apparent that a crime was already committed.
I'm not surprised it's a bunch of Marxists, who have no concern for the cornerstones of society--such as due process--that would introduce this kind of thing. Hopefully all of the lawsuits for wrongful imprisonment will put an end to this illogical thinking.
BTW, are they planning on arresting female abusers too? Oh wait, right in the article, they use the term "violence against women" as a synonym for domestic violence. Wow, how blind and ignorant can one be?
