Judge upholds accused student's gender-bias claim

Article here. Excerpt:

'A Virginia judge will allow a formerly accused Washington and Lee University student to continue with his lawsuitalleging gender bias against the university.

Judge Norman K. Moon denied W&L's motion to dismiss the lawsuit, allowing John Doe — as he is referred to in the claim — to continue to seek damages resulting from his expulsion from the university. John believes he was wrongly accused of sexual misconduct, and Moon appears to agree.

On Feb. 8, 2014, John and his eventual accuser, Jane Doe, met at an off-campus party. The two danced, talked and kissed.

The two eventually went back to John's residence and talked for awhile. Jane then walked over to John and allegedly told him, "I usually don't have sex with someone I meet on the first night, but you are a really interesting guy." Jane then began kissing John and the two had sex.

The next morning, John drove Jane home and the two exchanged cellphone numbers. Shortly after the encounter, the two became friends on Facebook. The two exchanged friendly messages.

During the summer of 2014, Jane worked at a women's clinic that handled sexual assault issues. After speaking to people there about her encounter with John, she began reclassifying the encounter as sexual assault.

When she returned to campus in the fall, Jane claimed on a study abroad application that she had been sexually assaulted. She also attended a presentation by W&L's Title IX officer Lauren Kozak. Kozak claimed that "regret equals rape," and introduced the concept as a new idea people were now supporting.

Once Jane learned that John had been accepted into the study abroad program, she filed a sexual assault claim, now eight months after the encounter.'

Trade school or a men's college. Don't risk your future and being in oodles of useless college loan debt on the off chance some feminists will mess with the head of a girl you had sex with like what happened here. Only now, the risk is even greater since they have the US gov't now supporting their nutsery.

Simple: Don't swim in waters where sharks hang out.

Unfortunately, there are only about 3 men's colleges left in the U.S.

P.S. Jane Doe used to be known as John Doe's wife. I guess times have changed.

MRAs raised hackles when they posted posters saying regret was not rape. Perhaps nobody believed them. Apparently, a Title IX officer is now telling women that "regret equals rape"?

In what universe can that be fair? Or legal? How is the man supposed to know if the woman will regret it in the morning? Or next year? Or ten years from now?

For now, there's a statute of limitations. Who knows how long that will last?

Absolutely!
I mean this is NUTS!!!
What if the Man regrets it??? What then???
Or is this, yet another, gender double standard?

(First... hi!)

Second...

What if the man regrets it?
Men NEVER regret it because men are strong and take responsibility and women are weak damsels in distress who are always victims with no self-agency.... According to feminism.

Damn... how did feminism become about women being weak? When did that happen?

(Hi, back! ^_^ )

Yes, I mean, you don't hear men go about fussing, griping, bitching and crying over such trivial matters. It's always us (women) that are doing that. (well, a whole heck of a lot of us, anyways).

"Damn... how did feminism become about women being weak? When did that happen?"

Darned if I know! I mean, one minute they are saying we are stronger, smarter and better than men, the next they are boo hoo-ing about how weak, fragile and oppressed we are.
Which IS it, already?
It would be nice if they would make up their flipping minds, already. Jeez!

Good point about male regret. Suppose he gets her pregnant and regrets it. Can he have her brought up on charges?

And I liked the "I am woman, hear me roar" version of feminism than the "I am woman, hear me whine" version.

And it's not women per se--it's what feminism has turned women into. Most women are decent enough--until they get brainwashed by the feminists. Some manage to resist the brainwashing. Or reject it. Problem is that today most women have been heavily influenced by feminism. The new motto of the new woman is "I can do anything a man can do--plus cry, bitch, and moan until I get my way." And the latter is easier and more effective.

But I have a feeling if this craziness keeps up, more non-sectarian colleges will pop up as more coed ones close.

But yeah, most men's colleges in the US are sectarian. At the moment, it seems only 5 exist that are not.
