Story here. Excerpt:
'A married woman who falsely claimed she had been raped by a taxi driver in Midlothian has been sentenced to 200 hours of community service.
A major inquiry was launched after Chantal Clark, 36, from Dalkeith, claimed she had been sexually assaulted by the driver in May 2014.
Clark later pleaded guilty to a charge of falsely making a rape claim.
She had engaged in consensual sex with the driver, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
Edinburgh Sheriff Court heard how the investigation resulted in the man appearing in court on a rape charge.'

Native of U.K.
i'm actually a native of the U.K. Yorkshire England to be exact (became a U.S. citizen almost 1 year ago).
i gotta tell you, that while these incidents are bad (and increasing) here in the states, it is becoming epidemic in the U.K.
when i came to the states,10 months ago, i thought to myself: "it's gonna be ab fab, (absolutely fabulous)in the U.S. where there is "freedom and justice for all." i can get away from some of the nonsense and tommyrot of British political correctness and intolerance.
....sad to say... it rather seemed to follow me across the pond...!
it is nearly as bad, and in some cases WORSE here, now.
i see that the men of the U.S. are just as beaten down into submission as the blokes of my home country, and it makes me sad.
i keep asking myself... when will the chaps have ENOUGH of this out and out rubbish and DO something to help themselves?
then i ask others the same question.
...i have yet to receive a legitimate answer.
