Article here. Excerpt:
'On Sunday, The Huffington Post UK imposed a 24-hour ban. On men. We decided to only use pictures of women on the front page - except for Richard Branson, who we'll get onto later.
You may well be thinking this is censorship. This is prejudice against men. Yes, it is.
I didn't actually think it was a good idea - more of an interesting experiment. To remove pictures of men from our home page, just because they are men, is obviously unfair. Yet it served a purpose.
When we report the news, we pick what we consider to be the biggest stories for our readers. Sometimes they are about men, sometimes they are about women (and sometimes about dresses, or dogs, or weasels riding birds).'

Another experiment
Boycott HuffPo, permanently or until they get their collective head out of their collective a$$. Fools.
maybe to be fair
they should post pix of the 300 + innocent men freed by the Innocence Project using mostly dna evidence accidentally saved from another era when it wasn't possible. the average length of time served is over 17 years. the guy freed yesterday (see yahoo news) has already served 20 years, + 3 more due for breaking a sink in solitary.
fyi, many times da's refuse to allow dna to be tested if found on old evidence. the lawyer working for the IP said this guy had 4 witnesses putting him somewhere else. he was identified that night by the rape victim while handcuffed and held by a cop in the nearby streetlight. she said it was a case of complete tunnel vision by cops and prosecutors.
but by all means, let the perpetual victims at the hp continue their boycott. maybe the concept will catch on with certain groups.
omg!
this is pure rubbish!!!
you see? this is one of the reasons i moved from England to the U.S.
to get away from at least SOME of this nonsense.
but, hey. take disheart... i'm sure this sort of stupidity will eventually end up here across the pond, as well. -_-
yep.
