Liberals storm California's bedrooms

Articke here. Excerpt:
'I have a slightly different take on California's recent decision to regulate college sex. Don't get me wrong, it's beyond idiotic, unworkable, even borderline Orwellian. We'll get to all that.
...
The incredible overreach of the law has been discussed at great length. The Times editorial board expressed its own sensible misgivings in an editorial before Brown signed the bill into law. "It seems extremely difficult and extraordinarily intrusive to micromanage sex so closely as to tell young people what steps they must take in the privacy of their own dorm rooms."'

Not just "liberals"
The desire to placate feminists and/or act like Sir White Knight defending defenseless damsels against hordes of rapist barbarian college boys isn't limited to liberals. It's found all over the political and social spectrum. While liberals tend to side predictably and consistently with the campus feminist crowd, it's been noted that the paternalistic attitudes of more conservative people operating out of a place of chivalrous delusion (males) or entitledness (females) will support some kinds of actions that feminists support. Presuming a man guilty of anything a young woman accuses him of when there's any mention of sexual behavior involved is one place conservatives and liberals intersect, hence the quick passage and signing into law of Cali's latest piece of breakthrough (ugh...) legislation.
