"Not Sexist to Leave Male Circumcision Out of the Debate and Only Focus on Female Genital Mutilation"

She's vs. MGM w/out the expressed consent of the to-be-circumcised male. That's a start. That she thinks circumcision isn't an attempt to control male sexuality just shows she hasn't done much homework on its history as a practice. She's misinformed re the supposed benefits of it and the notion that men can still enjoy sex -- true, but only to an extent. If diminishing women's sexual pleasure via FGM is wrong, then circumcision, which also has that effect, is also wrong for that reason.

But the net result of her stance on male circumcision comes close to the net result of the position held by ardent intactivists. She may not agree w/ them on the details, but maybe one day after further study of it, her affiliated opinions will change.

And sure, I'm not happy w/ her rather flaky and ill-informed dismissal of intactivists' concerns. But alas, I'm used to nymphotropic cognitive dissonance. And as I said, at least she's anti-forced circumcision. Better than average. :)
