Colorado girl's mom applauds suspension of 6-year old boy who kissed her daughter

'DENVER, CO -- The mother of a girl involved in the case of a 6-year-old Colorado boy suspended for giving a classmate unwanted kisses says the school did the right thing.

The girl's mother, Jade Masters-Ownbey, told the Canon City Daily Record on Wednesday that the school district did a "great job" protecting her daughter from repeated harassment from the boy.

The boy's mother, Jennifer Saunders, insists the punishment was too harsh.

"He is 6 years old, and that is absolutely ridiculous for him to have 'sexual harassment' on his record, even it is (only on the district's) record," she said.'

somewhere somebody said that the 2 kids liked each other. well, we all know what that means w/ 6 year olds, wooo wooo! projecting one's own evil thoughts onto innocence much, or just evil showing up exactly where one would expect?

jokes aside, this is probably not just a one-sided thing. these kids are not strangers, and at that age little girls are usually a lot more forward in the kissing department, as we all know. maybe if, by some wild stretch of the imagination, the girl had been the one facing getting something this serious and this stupid/dumb on her permanent record, her mom would be singing a different song.
