Women’s group: Obama’s cabinet ‘clearly’ needs to be 50-percent female

'As President Barack Obama finalizes his second-term cabinet picks, the nation’s leading feminist group is pushing for more female appointments.

Currently, the president, who garnered 55 percent of the women’s vote on Election Day, has eight females in his 23-member cabinet. According the National Organization for Women, that number isn’t nearly high enough.

NOW president Terry O’Neill, in an interview with The Daily Caller, explained that she would like to see complete gender parity in Obama’s second-term cabinet.'

My response to anyone who complains about not enough women in high places, and/or lauds the increase in women in high places (the recent election in November had Facebook friends of mine joyfully passing around pictures of the women who had gotten elected to Congress) is this: "I'm all for it. The more women the better." And then I pause, letting them think that I'm this big egalitarian or whatever, then I add: "Because I'm tired of men getting blamed for everything. I can't wait to be able to blame women for things going to shit."

I always get a shocked look back, but there has never been any follow-up. Because I'm in essence DARING them to say something stupid like "Well, that won't happen because women are smarter/better/whatever..."

I'm tired of the talk. Time for them to put their money where their mouth is. Even better if we just put them there because they have a va-jay-jay, and no other reason (like, say, qualifications). I always relish the opportunity to say "Well, how did that work out for you?"

are seeking employment aboard the good ship America. from what i can see from here, that particular ship is headed for the rocks with an insane captain, a 1st mate that couldn't find the pacific ocean leaving pearl harbor, and a bridge full of a very strange assortment of like minded, unqualified wannabes. what possible difference could a few more socially promoted crew members make at this point?

if you dont think that the laws will get worse with less men to shame into getting things the way that feminists want them and more feminists directly controlling the vote i think you would be wrong,, how many more men will they lock up and leave the world defenseless to the abuse of the rich before it matters??
