DNC Convention, night 1
Simply too much to comment on in full. Best to Google for transcripts. I can just mention a few things: Mrs. Obama delivered a finger-wag about what a man really is when she described her MS-stricken father as still going out to work so she could be sent to college. I.e., a real man ignores his health and well-being so his daughter can work later to curb the educational and other opportunities of people like him (i.e., men).
Constant rebukes regarding abortion, with the NARAL president saying people without knowledge of what it's like to have a woman's body shouldn't be making any decisions about it (implication: male lawmakers should have no say in laws around abortion). No mention of course about the fact that maybe, just maybe, men should also have reproductive rights too. Not a peep from either Dems or Reps. Dare I dream?
And of course, the wage gap myth was trotted out repeatedly by multiple speakers.
Until now I have been reluctant to go along with the suggestion that the Democrat party has in essence become "the feminist party". That is because political parties go through phases, like fads, and just because a party veers this or that way for a few years doesn't mean it has assuredly changed course for the foreseeable future. But after tonight, I see the time has come for me to change my opinion.
The GOP can hardly be considered, however, a "men's party", by any means. Clearly they are substantially less hostile to men ideologically but as for support or acknowledgement of men's/fathers' issues, they are still not there. So guys, no news here: we're still on our own.

The Democrat party's, and
The Democrat party's, and Obama administration's, support of the gender-feminist hate movement is despicable and has injured the lives of untold numbers of innocent men, children, babies, and yes, even women. But it's males who have mostly been in the cross hairs of those vile, lying, scamming hypocrites as shown in Witch-Hunting Males at Youtube.
The gender feminists have been waging a WAR ON MALES in every Democrat administration of the past 20 years (Clinton and Obama).
I don't see how democrats can
I don't see how democrats can be singled out. Republicans at best do nothing in the face of these programs (barely mustering support against VAWA) and at worst introduce their own anti-male programs.
Yeah
As I've said, we're on our own til further notice. Pick the lesser of evils, that's all we can do.
I'm not happy with the
I'm not happy with the Democratic feminist narrative on women's issues, but it's not like Republicans are bending over backwards to champion men's issues. They do more than their fair share to screw over men. I would say Republicans are still worse for men than Democrats even after the shitty feminist rhetoric.
