Circumcision ban makes Germany "laughing stock"-Merkel

Article here. Excerpt:

BERLIN, July 17 (Reuters) - Chancellor Angela Merkel has warned that Germany could become a laughing stock if it fails to overturn a district court ban on circumcision that has enraged Jews and Muslims.

Merkel's government has already criticised the Cologne court ruling and promised a new law to protect the right to circumcise male infants, but the conservative leader's strong comments underline how sensitive Germany is to charges of intolerance because of its Nazi past.

"I do not want Germany to be the only country in the world where Jews cannot practise their rituals. Otherwise we will become a laughing stock," the Bild daily quoted Merkel as telling a closed meeting of her Christian Democrats (CDU).'

What would you expect from a politician, least of all a headstrong female politician? The perception that Germany is not tolerant of Jews is more important than the rights of males. In most countries, the rights of males are worth nothing, and Merkel's remark reveals her perspective. These rights are not even a consideration in her position.

Men -- your body is worth nothing, and your bodily integrity is just a concept that a fringe minority group, like those who visit this site, happen to consider. The fact that male bodies are worth nothing is longstanding as reflected by the male-only military draft.

You're wrong, Merkel. Germany is not a laughing stock for protecting baby boys from mutilation. The only laughing stock here is you for not being woman enough to stand up for defenseless baby boys. I hope you're proud of yourself.

Merkel reveals that the whole notion that women are nurturing and men are not -- that is just plain myth. Merkel can be as power-hungry, selfish, and unemotional as any man.
