NCFM CALLS ON HILLARY CLINTON TO WOMAN UP ABOUT HER SEXIST HYPOCRISY ON GENITAL MUTILATION
Hilly Clinton's opposition to female genital mutilation while promoting male genital mutilation is just more of her sexist "no excuse" double standards, just like her denouncement of domestic violence while she assaulted her husband

For Immediate Release
February 17, 2012 (Los Angeles) - Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, on February 16, 2012, announced at a State Department meeting that "there is no cultural justification for female genital cutting, a practice that is sometimes referred to as female circumcision." www.voanews.com/english/news/africa/Clinton-Cultural-Tradition-is-No-Excuse-for-Female-Genital-Mutilation--139478343.html
At the same time, Clinton has been promoting male genital mutilation in Africa to fight HIV based on three controversial clinical studies claiming male circumcision reduces the chance of contracting HIV by 60 percent. http://aumag.org/wordpress/?p=3211
The National Coalition For Men (NCFM) calls on Hillary Clinton to "woman up" about her sexism and hypocrisy when it comes to genital mutilation and domestic violence.
Male circumcision is gynecologically equivalent to removal of the clitoral foreskin, one of several forms of infant female circumcision all of which are illegal in the U.S. and elsewhere. "It's a common myth that female circumcision is always removal of the clitoris," says NCFM Vice President Marc Angelucci. "The most common form is removal of the clitoral foreskin, which is no different than removing the male foreskin," he said.
"In fact, male circumcision permanently removes a natural buffer and lubricant during sex that is packed with erogenous nerve endings and specialize mucosa. A child cannot consent to that. It's a sexist double standard to forbid one but promote or even allow the other. Boys deserve the same protection as girls, regardless of religion, culture, or tradition."
Research shows the male foreskin is the most sensitive part of the penis, and male circumcision can significantly reduce sexual pleasure.

A recent study in Denmark found circumcised men have a much higher rate of sexual problems than intact men. http://ije.oxfordjournals.org/content/early/2011/06/13/ije.dyr104.short?rss=1
New research also find circumcised men are five times more likely to suffer from premature ejaculation. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21492404
Furthermore, the South African Medical Journal and others vehemently challenge the studies that claim circumcision reduces HIV. www.samj.org.za/index.php/samj
Likewise, the South African Medical Association expressed "serious concern that not enough scientifically-based evidence was available to confirm that circumcisions prevented HIV contraction and that the public at large was influenced by incorrect and misrepresented information. The committee reiterated its view that it did not support circumcision to prevent HIV transmission." www.intactnews.pfeyz.com/openpublish/article/south-african-medical-association-denounces-circumcision-infants
The President of Uganda rejected circumcision as an HIV preventative and declared the research to be misleading. http://www.newvision.co.ug/D/8/12/759239
The few studies in Africa that found male circumcision reduces HIV are contradicted by observational studies that show otherwise. www.publichealthinafrica.org/index.php/jphia/article/view/jphia.2011.e4/html_9

According to a report by USAID, "There appears no clear pattern of association between male circumcision and HIV prevalence—in 8 of 18 countries with data, HIV prevalence is lower among circumcised men, while in the remaining 10 countries it is higher." USAID report, "LEVELS AND SPREAD OF HIV SEROPREVALENCE AND ASSOCIATED FACTORS: EVIDENCE FROM NATIONAL HOUSEHOLD SURVEYS" www.measuredhs.com/pubs/pdf/CR22/CR22.pdf
And reports in Zimbabwe, Uganda and elsewhere show circumcision is increasing HIV rates because the men think it makes them immune. http://allafrica.com/stories/201105050159.html

This is exactly what renowned physician Dr. Dean Edell warned about when he called the African/HIV conclusions "silly" and warned, "it will backfire." He recognized the gender double standard, the loss of sensation in the penis, and that the solution is condoms and education, not circumcision. www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlsUg0sdAtE
Even if it did reduce HIV, the men being subjected to circumcision should be adequately informed about the above research, and they are not. Moreover, due to a poor turnout of African men volunteering to be circumcised, the pro-circumcision lobby has began turning to Plan B, which is to circumcise African boys at birth. www.theworld.org/2011/10/botswana-infant-circumcision-campaign/
"Mutilating infant boys totally violates their human rights," Angelucci said. "There is no excuse for this double standard. In fact the top doctors in Norway and Holland are calling for an end to infant male circumcision."

The Dutch Medical Association, representing 46,000 physicians and medical students, recently issued a report backed by seven other national medical associations in the Netherlands declaring that male circumcision violates children's right to bodily integrity and that the male foreskin is an important erotogenic structure for which no medical benefit justifies its routine removal.

The South African Medical Association denounced infant male circumcision as unethical and illegal. www.intactnews.pfeyz.com/openpublish/article/south-african-medical-association-denounces-circumcision-infants
The British and Australian medical associations both denounced any medical justification for routine infant male circumcision. www.smh.com.au/national/letters/no-evidence-to-support-routine-circumcision-20090911-fkna.html

In fact, research shows infant male circumcision is extremely painful and can cause lifetime trauma.

This is similar to Hillary's claim that 'there is no excuse for domestic violence' while she assaults her husband Bill." According to the otherwise complimentary biography, Hillary's Choice, by author Gail Sheehy, Hillary Clinton attacked Bill on several occasions. In 1993, she slashed his face with her fingernails, leaving a "mean claw mark along his jawline." Dee Dee Myers, the White House spokeswoman at the time, later explained to Sheehy that it was Barbara Streisand's visit to the White House that sparked Hillary's rage. According to Christopher Anderson, author of Bill and Hillary, Hillary also assaulted Bill on August 13, 1999, after the Monica Lewinsky revelations. Anderson writes: ''Much of what transpired next between Bill and Hillary Clinton was plainly audible to Secret Service agents and household staff members down the hall. In the past, Hillary had thrown books and an ashtray at the President--both hitting their mark...Hillary rose to her feet and slapped him across the face--hard enough to leave a red mark that would be clearly visible to Secret Service agents when he left the room.'' Sheehy's account of the incident is similar, though the book also mentions a lamp that was thrown by Hillary Clinton in this or another incident, but she does confirm the the August 13, 1999 assault by a quote from Hillary friend Linda Bloodworth-Thomasen who was staying with her husband in the private quarters nearby who confirmed that Hillary Clinton ''smacked him upside the head.''
"Hillary Clinton needs to woman up," said Angelucci. "Her sexism, hypocrisy, and violence need to be exposed and she needs to denounce them like a woman."
