Fractured skull, broken nose, held captive for days...

Apologies to those who have trouble with Welsh place names!

This is one of those 'reverse the genders and imagine the different sentence' situations:

'A woman who battered her boyfriend unconscious in his sleep with a golf club and locked him in a derelict farmhouse for days has been given a 12-month suspended jail term.

"Nathan Yates, 37, suffered a fractured skull and broken nose in the attack at his home in Llanddewi Brefi, Ceredigion.
...
Laura Jones, from the same village, admitted grievous bodily harm.

The 45-year-old's sentence was suspended for two years and she was also placed on an 18-month supervision order and required to do 200 hours community service.'

He'd have got at least 5 years for this kind of crime. She got the pu$$y pass. Surprise surprise...

When you read a story like this, it makes one wonder why there are people out there who balk at the existence of the MRM. This article highlights one of my main issues with the way men are treated in society. The fact that they can be the victim of a woman's violence, and the woman never ever gets the sentence she deserves. It's always something absurdly lenient, like 200 hours of community service for assaulting a man so severely, he's lucky he didn't die, on top of kidnapping him and holding him against his will for days. Such a scenario is a tell-tale sign of second class citizenship. Also, notice there was no mention of domestic violence, even though the two were romantically involved at one point. Oh wait, I forgot, DV doesn't count when it happens to a man.

As f'cked up as Western manhood is I would not doubt that ol' Nathan will propose marriage to this psycho along the way. And also doing it in some sort of tacky juvenile way that seems to be the current asinine fad. Down on his knees with the Goodyear blimp passing overhead with the big question for his intended.
