Judge orders Mindy McCready: Return son to Florida

Story here. Wonder where the dad is in all this? And why is McCready's mother the guardian of the boy and not his father when it seems the boy can visit the dad? This is weird. But aside from that, seems this is a case of mom v. daughter and mom ignoring the law. Curious to see how they treat her when they finally catch up with her, which I am sure they will soon enough. Will she also get jail time like men who violate custody orders and take their kids across state lines? Usually mom alleges abuse at the hands of dad. In this one, she is alleging abuse at the hands of her own mother. Try to keep up with all the pronouns! Excerpt:

'ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) - Country singer Mindy McCready said Thursday she would not bring her 5-year-old son back from Tennessee to Florida, despite violating a custody arrangement and a judge's order.

McCready took the boy during a recent visit at her father's southwest Florida home and a judge signed an order Thursday ordering authorities to take the boy into custody and return him. It's not yet clear whether she could face criminal charges.

"I'm doing all this to protect Zander, not stay out of trouble," McCready wrote in an email to The Associated Press on Thursday. "I don't think I should be in trouble for protecting my son in the first place."

McCready says she is in Tennessee and it is looking less likely that she will bring her son back to Florida. She says she cannot travel because she's nearly seven months pregnant with twins. There was no answer at a Nashville address for McCready.

The judge's order means law enforcement anywhere can pick up Zander and bring him back to Florida.

McCready and her mother have had a long custody battle over the boy. Until recently, the boy was living with McCready's mother. Her mother was awarded guardianship in 2007. McCready says her son has suffered abuse at her mother's house; her mother, Gayle Inge, denies the abuse allegations.'

What I find interesting about these song lyrics is the complete omission of how women react to men acting the same way as Mindy in the song. She wrote this song as if women are chill and never give men shit for anything, and it's only men that get upset in a relationship. What a load! The song should be about a guy giving shit to a girl for acting like a drunken tramp, and then telling her "why are you mad? Girls do it all the time!" Maybe this little misadventure will enlighten her to the misandry that is rampant in the world. If she was a man in the same situation, her situation would definitely be a lot more dire than it is.
