Ohio Gym Teacher Jailed for Sex With Students

Story here. Guilty on 16 counts of sexual battery and she gets... 4 years in jail, eligible for parole in six months. A sentencing disparity? Nahhh, none here! Sure. It's so outrageous that it's even gotten press time. Now it has to be pretty bad for that to happen. Excerpt:

'A popular Ohio high school gym teacher has been sentenced to four years in jail after a judge rejected her insanity defense and convicted her on 16 counts of sexual battery for sleeping with several of her former students.

Stacy Schuler, a former gym and health teacher, had sex with five former students, some of whom were football players, at the school in suburban Cincinnati, where she taught since 2000. During her trial, which ended Thursday, Schuler's lawyers defended her actions with explanations ranging from her vegan diet, the use of the antidepressants, blackouts from alcohol and even irritable bowel syndrome, claiming it rendered her unable to determine right from wrong.

Although several students testified on her behalf, the decision to reject the defense prompted some tough words from the judge hearing Schuler's case, who said it would be a "magnificent leap" believing she had no idea her actions were wrong.

"This is a noble profession that you have, and I've heard a lot of good things about you, but I know that you had the opportunity, as all teachers do, to affect the lives of our children," Warren County Common Pleas Judge Robert Peeler said. "You crossed a line."

One of the victim's fathers testified at the trial of how his son was negatively affected by Schuler's actions.

"He suffered from depression, loss of motivation … almost didn't go to college -- he was angry at home and he didn't want to be around family or anyone -- my son was not who he used to be," the father said.

Although Schuler declined to comment on her own behalf after her sentencing, she cried as she was handcuffed and led out of the courtroom, The Associated Press reported.

Sentenced to four years in jail, Schuler will be eligible for parole in six month, but she will be labeled a sexual offender and required to register her address every 90 days for the rest of her life.'

when you go to the comments section of these type articles, there are
usually guys (mostly) there saying how lucky the boy(s) were, and there should
not be any punishment for women doing this sort of thing. and sometimes
how the kid or his parents should thank the woman.

i'm tempted to go to a site where they are discussing some guy doing the
same things as these women, and write about how the little girls are lucky, and how the
girl/parents should thank him, or something along those lines.

can you imagine how long it will take me to get banned from that site for life, if
indeed my words ever get aired? and people want proof of society's bias against
men and boys? really? i believe sane people already know
there is a serious bias against men in the courts. the proof is easy to see,
if you are indeed a person seeking the truth.

You're right, daveinga. Once you seek the truth, the edifice called feminism falls down.

What amazes me is that almost no one--aside from MRAs--seeks the truth. Newspapers will print feminist "truths" without performing any due diligence. And what's odd is everything they claim is easy to disprove--just a little research. But even though hundreds of studies have shown women are just as violent as men in the home, for example, those studies are treated as fantasies made up by MRAs.

But why? In,part the need to be PC, to conform, to not rock the boat. A think a lot of men go along to get along--or get laid. They don't think these lies will hurt them. A lot of people just don't want the truth, I guess.

Double standards for sure. It happens to guys, and so many people laughs it off saying "he wanted it". The girl (who arguably matures faster, and therefore is better at making decisions) that has the same thing happen, everyone cries at her being brainwashed. All the males saying they wish it happened to them, sorry but some fantasies should stay that way. We need guys to stop saying "Oh, I wish it happened to me" so that when something does happen to these kids, people stop saying "Oh, the boy wanted it." That excuse NEVER works for girls, and if these kids are scared or damaged, they need help! Those stupid comments are leading people to ignore these young men.

This woman should be in prison just like any man would be, and these boys need help to understand this wasn't normal, and that someone in her position should never have acted like she had, they need to learn that this isn't responsible and is dangerous. Adults needs to keep the lines drawn, not cross them just because the student is a boy. This is just sickening! Thanks to comments like those from males, we have females like Sue (in the comments for that article) saying these kids are sissies if they want help and are "damaged." So the next time a boy IS forced into something, he won't be able to step forward. This is why half the gender gets away with abuse/violence/and any other crime against men! If men DO step forward, they are mocked for it.

Every day I open the newspaper, my soul weeps and dies a bit more due to the people in this world.
