If Men Are In Trouble, So Are Women
Article here. Excerpt:
'For the first time in history, wrote author and former U.S. Secretary of Education William J. Bennett on CNN.com, women are better educated, more ambitious, and arguably more successful than men.
“Society has rightly celebrated the ascension of one sex,” he writes in Why Men Are In Trouble. “We said, ‘You go girl,’ and they went.”
...
A few weeks ago, I spoke at The University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, and I can confirm that many of the young women on campus are confused about men: their mixed signals, their lack of commitment to a relationship, the dearth of maturity and the inability to communicate. But if you asked the women what they wanted, they didn’t seem to quite know either.
Many didn’t have an idea what they wanted to do after college. Asked if they wanted a committed relationship, many said no. Were they deluding themselves? I don’t think so. I think they genuinely didn’t want to be tied down in their early 20s, and preferred to keep their options open to travel, go to graduate school, or switch cities.
...
But men have their genuine gripes and concerns too. “Yeah, marriage,” wrote one man on CNN. “I want to give up everything to be constantly nagged… Looking forward to a woman who completely loses interest in sex after we take the vows. Married men are supposed to put their wife and children first, slave away at work and give up any real passion they once had. Sounds like a worthwhile life on earth to me!”
What is the solution to all of this? Does it even need a solution? I won’t pretend I have the answer. I just know that if men are in trouble, then women—at least if they want to build a life with a man—are in trouble too.'

and nothing for men
they said 'women must be better and more educated than men', so
they enacted affirmative action for women and minorities.
that wasn't enough, so, they expanded title ix, to give even more
women a free ride, but atlas, that wasn't enough.
so, they dumbed down the schools for everybody, and women almost
completely took over the education system, even demonized men, but that wasn't enough.
so, they made 100's and 1000's of women and minority only grants,
women and minority only scholarships, special loans, free college for single mothers,
and a multitude of other devices to make sure women succeeded in the classroom.
nothing ever for men.
so, eventually, decades later, women succeed!
golly gee. imagine that! success, of a sort. except that in the workplace,
finding a job for men, w/o access to affirmative action hiring practices,
and all the other free handouts, became almost impossible; and, they still couldn't
find a way into the college classroom, or find a good paying job, or maybe any job.
men still make the world go 'round. but now, upon hearing the dirge of new men entering the
workplace, the entire country if failing.
and guess what? yep, you guessed it, not a word that maybe this lack of actually trying to
achieve quality in education and in the workplace is taking our country into the pits.
no mention anywhere, and there won't be.
so. yeah women, you have been successful. but at what a terrible cost to the entire world.
but true to form, they will blame it on men.
reminds me of the story of the couple out swimming. she eventually gave out, so he let
her get on his back, and on he swam. until he too bagan to give out. as they both went under for
the last time those on the shore reported that she must have been the stronger swimmer, since the last hand to be seen going down was her's.
It's because of fear
In my opinion, one reason that college men are not looking for any commitment and are not communicating is the fear brought on by the feminists witch hunting seen in the Hofstra Rape case and the Duke Lacrosse case. If I were in college now, I'd also be scared to have any kind of relationship with a woman. These cases were before the new edict that preponderance of evidence is all that is needed to bring rape charges against a man. The direction that feminists are pushing this is soon all men will be guilty of rape at the mere accusation of it, unless they can prove consent. This has already begun in a few jurisdictions. Ladies have made their bed and now must sleep in it. Alone I'm afraid.
