Too fragile for politics?
Article here. Excerpt:
'It about time that someone told this woman what she needed to hear and if she can't stand the heat, she should stay out of the kitchen. Debbie Wasserman Schultz has repeated taunted West in public, even heading up a protest march outside West's campaign headquarters. She has made earlier charges against this man, claiming that he associated with vicious, degrading attitudes toward women because he contributed a column to a biker magazine that some found objectionable.
Well what is good for the goose, is good for the gander, and Ms. Schultz, along with her cackle of fellow women, are acting completely inappropriately. Politics is a dirty game, and Schultz has demonstrated her ability to play the game as well as any one else, male or female. But now that someone is standing up to her, and gives her a taste of her own medicine, the poor little victim cries sexism. Well too bad for Debbie Wasserman Schultz.'

Not too fragile
Just calling foul whenever it gets rough, that's all. Less a sign of fragility and more a sign of aren't-I-special-ism. We've seen it before whenever a race gets tight, more than once has a female candidate turned to appeals to her sex or appeals to people's prejudices regarding women in an effort to get an edge. It's not women who need to deal with anti-them sexism in political tussles and races-- it's men.
I like how this article
I like how this article mentioned that this kind of behaviour actually sets women back. It's so true.
As paradoxical as it may seem, misandry is also misogynistic. Let me clarify. In keeping the social structures which support misandry standing, half the world's population ends up pandering and taking care of the other half as if it were helpless, infantile, and in need of special treatment.
I don't know about you, but if people were always making allowances for me, as if I were incapable, I'd begin to feel insulted and patronized. I don't need a special set of rules that only apply to me to play the game, and neither do women! At least, not real women. The little girls in women's bodies may like a separate set of rules, but fair-minded, logical women, like my girlfriend or Kris, don't care for special treatment b/c they are as capable and thick-skinned as we are. Clearly, Wasserman Schulz should find a new game to play.
