UK: Judges ordered to show more mercy on women criminals when deciding sentences

Article here. Excerpt:

'Judges have been told to treat female criminals more leniently than men when deciding sentences.

New guidelines declare that women suffer disadvantages and courts should ‘bear these matters in mind’.

The rules say women criminals often have poor mental health or are poorly educated, have not committed violence and have children to look after.

‘Women’s experiences as victims, witnesses and offenders are in many respects different to those of men,’ according to the Equal Treatment Bench Book.

‘These differences highlight the importance of the need for sentencers to bear these matters in mind when sentencing.’'

The doublespeak is incredible. They have a document called "Equal Treatment Bench Book" that is advising to give UNEQUAL and unfair special protections to women (excepting maybe the fact that they are more likely to have children to take care of, gee I wonder why).

Would they just stutter and fart if someone actually posed the basic question: Isn't giving women special and more caring treatment the exact opposite of "equal treatment"?

And do male criminals not have poor mental health and poor education too?

It really is all about the anti-maleness that has suffused the system and nearly every institution in it. What else can explain such hugely obvious yet paradoxically still overlooked flaws in reasoning? Their strategy to provide equal treatment is to provide the exact opposite? COME ON! WHO ARE YOU KIDDING? I think they're kidding themselves the most, and they're too deluded to know.

We better do something about this. no joke. there's gonna come a time when we have to get out of our computers and hit the streets, but sheer necessity for the preservation of our basic human dignity and worth, the kind of dignity and worth women now just take for granted.
