Woman Gets 34 Years for Torturing/Assautling Children

'CLEVELAND, Ohio --The Cleveland mother who tortured her 8-year-old son for four years will spend 34 years in prison.

And the boy's father, who did nothing to protect the child and eight siblings, was sentenced Tuesday to 26 years. Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Kathleen Ann Sutula ignored a plea agreement between Andreia Huffman, 37, her husband, Jason Dunikowski, 32, and county prosecutors that called for 19- and 17-year sentences.

"Torture is not allowed in our society," Sutula said, while looking at photographs of the boy's swollen, broken nose, bruised legs and red wrists that had been bound every night with duct tape.

"Anyone who thinks the sentences are harsh, hasn't seen the evidence."'

When I was young we hired a live in baby sitter who had a young daughter. She would beat this helpless child brutally for the slightest thing and then beat her until she stopped crying. A real sick bitch but she was a female and a mom so she was above criticism. She did not stay over a month BTW!

Although I feel only contempt for this pair, the husband, Jason Dunikowski, experienced what I call the reverse pussy pass: if he'd been female, he would've been sentenced to therapy, a la Joel Steinberg and Hedda Nussbaum. Might've even wound up on Oprah talking about his abuse. Fact is that should he have tried to prevent the abuse, he would've been arrested for DV, mom left alone might've murdered the boy, and she would be seen as a victim of said DV and granted the pass.

When the man acts alone and the woman is passive, he's a monster. When the reverse occurs, they're both monsters.

All the wife had to do was dial 911 if he even acted like he was going to physically protect the victims! And he would be prosecuted for DV and probably child abuse also because it is her word against his and as we all know a man's word against his wife's abusive behavior is worth doodly squat!
