UK: Girl, 8, tells court she lied about being raped by ten-year-old boys

Notice how all the attention is on the so-called "victim," the one with the teddy bear, even though the victims are really the ones that could have had been given the "sex offender" label for life.

The article I read earlier today was from the BBC.

In both articles the judge is quoted as saying:
"No-one's suggesting you've done anything wrong at all. I'm the judge and I know."

Right, because the boys' lives and reputation mean nothing at all. Thanks for that confirmation.

Imagine a boy accusing a couple girls of a vile crime with lifetime repercussions and reading this same article about him recanting his story. Think everyone would be as forgiving and sympathetic? Think the judge would say, 'No-one's suggesting you've done anything wrong at all, little sweetheart'?

Its not serious because she's 8? Those boys are under rape charges at 10. It a complete contradiction to only take the court serious when it hurts boys.

Let me start of by stating very clearly so the everyone knows exactly where I stand - I do not care what the hell happened when it comes to kids that young there should be NO CRIMINAL INTERVENTION.

NOTHING good can come of this for ANYONE other then the state and the lawyers involved.

This type of insanity tells me the world wide war on sex is doing more harm then the USA's 40 year old, 1 Trillion dollar failure, the war on drugs.

It also makes me want to propose legislature that would require ALL human beings to pass some sort of intelligence test and some sort of test of reasoning and histrionics. What the hell makes a parent call the cops over little kids messing around?? Really, that girls parent(s) thought it was a better idea to get the justice system involved then talking to the boys parents, everyone talking to the kids together and sorting the whole thing out in 10 minutes? A criminal trial is really a better way of raising your kids then what parents used to do (ground the lot of 'em and tell that's inappropriate behavior)? Fuck, the trial is probably going to screw those kids up more then if they were really molested - and no, little kids messing around behind some dumpsters giggling is not ANY form of molestation or psychologically damaging.

Plus, what the hell does it say about the state of the whole damn world when an 8 year old girl knows how to make a false claim of rape in the first place and does so over the fear of not getting candy? I have no illusions whatsoever that the average 8 year old kid knows exactly what sex is and what rape is, but the fact that a little kid is emulating the radical hysterics of the adult world to the point that she is claiming being RAPED by pears knowing that it will get her special treatment, means the whole damn world needs to end the madness that is rape hysteria right now. YOU are hurting your kids more then rapists! You know why? Because in the whole of NORTH AMERICA (I know this case is from the UK), there are only about a dozen stranger abductions involving rape and murder per year out of over 400 million people. In other words, while extremely tragic and horrible those cases are, they are the absolute rarest type of criminal occurrences there is.

That said, THIS case makes me as sad as any case of rape of a child (where the child is not murdered) I have ever heard of because these kids are now as damaged as any child that has been raped. There is NOTHING happy about this case at all. Complete and total tragedy and speaks poorly of the whole culture that allowed this case to happen.
