Russia: Violent crimes by women increase

'Moscow: Crimes committed by women, particularly theft and crimes of passion, have risen sharply in Russia, reflecting an alarming trend, a top law official has said.
About 49,000 women convicts are at present imprisoned in 46 female prisons in the country.
"I would like to point out an alarming trend: female crime has been steadily on the rise," Russia's Deputy Prosecutor General Yevgeny Zabarchuk said Tuesday.
According to statistics, the most "popular" crimes committed by women in Russia are theft, drug trafficking and crimes of passion.'
So much for the myth that female criminals are less violent as compared to men.

Notice the sympathy...
A lack of medical equipment and deaths reported in prisons and detention facilities. Why do these get a mention now that more women are behind bars? Answer: no one cares about male prisoners or detainees. Once females are mentioned, it becomes important to make sure they get care. Here's a novel idea: Anyone behind bars ought to be getting decent healthcare. After all, criminal or not, if they are not permitted to seek out health care, their jailors have a moral obligation to see to it that they get it, right? Debatable I suppose... until you're the one behind bars.
Nonetheless I note how criminal behavior among women rises in populations wherein the number of women as a proportion starts to exceed the number of men, and as more women are without mates or a satisfying romantic future. Funny how that works. In Russia, the numbers speak for themselves:

Treating a woman like a man...
Treating a woman like a man is considered an abuse so why is it okay to treat a man that way in the first place. On the one hand women want equality with men. On the other hand women want equality with men, without all the abuse that men must endure to earn their living and to make their way in the world. I smell gender feminist hypocrisy.
women and violence
Satisically speaking women are much more violent when operating an illegal business than men. They are more likely to have appendages broken for a debt, they are more likely to order someones death due to either a real debt, or an imagined one. The inevitable lack of self control that has been encouraged by the system usually tells on it self. Nothing really new here. Women are not the enemy, the system is.
